Yes! I read that too, in some paper. Def gonna be seeing her! But why not summer/spring?! That's the "perfect season" for songs like WYT, Rude Boy, Hard and of course her older classics 8-)

Rihanna may add new tour date after record Irish sell-out

Singing superstar Rihanna is expected to add another Irish date to her sell-out tour after phenomenal demand.

The Grammy award-winning singer has been pencilled in for the 02 on May 23 in addition to her original date on May 22.

The Umbrella singer will be creating yet another fan frenzy as a number of her biggest supporters, who missed out the first time around, will be vying to get their hands on tickets for one of the most hotly anticipated concerts of the year.

As soon as it’s confirmed tickets will go on sale from 9am on January 22 — and are expected to be snapped up fast. The announcement will be comfirmed by MCD over the weekend.

Not surprisingly, Dublin’s top social venues are vying for the much-anticipated after-party for Rihanna and her crew.

Rihanna’s latest album sees the singer take on a much edgier persona compared to her clean-cut pop image since she came on the scene in 2005.

The singer (22) is known for her level head, and she avoided the party scene during her stint in the capital two years ago, but her female fans will no doubt be hoping she brings her hunky new beau, US baseball player Mark Kemp, along for the Irish leg of her world tour.

Tickets cost from €43.70.

The tour in the UK will kick in April. Rehearsals are set to start in early Feburay with Rude Boy’s music video to follow in near Feburay. The tour’s director is Jamie King who is known for his famous creative skills with Britney, Christina, and Madonna, just to name a few!
The tour will also start North America in late June. With dress rehearsal shows set in advanced in March and early April. It is expected to make its way back into the UK in late 2010. Along with Asia and others…

Jamie King and Rihanna have been planning the tour for a few weeks now along with Simon Rihanna’s full creative director for video visuals for the tour.

Additional VIP packages will be added to NA dates. Press-release and tour promotion to kick of in March.

I read that "The new princess of Pop, Rihanna, is in talks to do a show in Athens around May after she embarks on her Rated R tour". The same company that organized Bey's concert in Athens was set to organize Rihanna's concert, should she decide to come here. :)
