She probably doesn't care about charts and sales anymore. As for SB, i think it's more about showcasing her performing abilites than promoting the album. They could've simply released the album the tuesday after SB.

Same here.

I am neither rich nor do I live in a market she tours in, so the touring thing doesn't matter to me, I want music first and foremost. At the end of the day that matters more to me than tours, perfume, clothing lines, movies and everything else.

Some people here always try to bring Madonna down for some reason, but looking at album sales of Usher, Adam Lambert and Alexandra Burke just proves that even if Madonna flops, she still sells more than many people. If promoted well, MDNA could've sold 2 million copies up until this point.

How can you compare Madonna to Alexandra Burke or Adam Lambert? :-?

Just putting these names in the same sentence is some king of wrong...!

I don't compare them, just point out to some people who constantly say MDNA flopped.

Yes, but (in my opinion) you can't compare Madonna sales to those nobodies sales! :P

I mean so even Heartbreak On Hold is not a flop compared to the sales of Heidi Montag's album, Not Myself Tonight is not a flop single compared to Cassie last singles...

At this point every flop (or pseudo flop) of a bigger artist isn't a flop if you compare the sales with some Z-list singers.

"Frozen" alone slays her entire discography (bar the rest of Ray Of Light).

So as long as MDNA sells more than American Life or Hard Candy, it's not a flop?

I was just saying that you can't say an album isn't a flop just because it has sold more than a flop album of a failed singer...!

I don't want to say than MDNA is or isn't a flop, just that I believe this comparison system is wrong.

To call MDNA a success or a flop I think is better to do a comparison between Madonna other albums sales or a confrontation with other singers which are popular has her (or almost), don't you agree?

of course you can t put madonna on the same sentence of other artists , the fact is that madonna started before , in 1983 , always madonna s sales will be good compared with the new acts...

I absolutely love that song. I wish it was included on Celebration instead of Revolver. I think it was nixed because it was too similar to Sorry?

I also wish Animal made it onto Hard Candy....
