So, officially Taio's album isn't released in America yet.

I refuse to believe that Lifehouse's new album is #6 with 54k this week. :o

These guys had the annual #1 single of 2001 in America. Remember "Hanging By The Moment"?

"You And Me" was one of the biggest hits of 2005/2006, with 62 weeks charted on Hot 100 it pretty much was at the time what I'm Yours was in 2008/2009. It was one of the first tracks to sell over 2 million downloads.
They got 3 chart toppers on Adult top 40 recurrents in 2008 and 2009 too. They have been quite active recently!

the biggest mistake in US history... for example brilliant, monster hits like Work It(Missy Elliott), Bad Romance and Party In The USA peaked "only" #2. What a shame!! :o

However this is their biggest sales week since 2005 when "Lifehouse" sold 63k.

Mistake? That's not a mistake... during their staying at #2 there was a song that had more points (ariplay/sales) than those songs you mentioned.

Yes, but i think there are many better songs which should've reached no.1 of course people decide what they want to buy, so... I only voiced my opinion.

Well, history is full of similar cases... for me, the worst is Creedence Clearwater Revival: they scored 5 #2 songs and no #1 hit :o

Big hit in Europe, except in France : I think nobody know again this song here... It's cool to have an other song with a sound very European at the summit of the US chart.
and what about Spain? i don't think it didn't even enter the Top 50 Songs...
