I've decided like it or not. "Outside" is technically the best song ever recorded and I mean out of everybody in the world who has ever recorded anything. Bv's are at a level nobody else could have imagined doing , the production and structure is perfect but simple . The lead vocal is perfect nobody comes close to this song it's too different I don't think anyone could sing it as good as Mariah did.

Agree.

I know Nick is Mariah's husband and she loves him but he shouldn't get involved with her career at all.
First, he's not that good at anything (singing, producing, hosting, etc.)
Second, If Mariah flop in any way he will be the first to get the blame regardless of it was his fault or not.

I would've never known who Nick Canon was if wasn't for Mariah to be honest. People still thinks he is riding on her fame. The little success he has today is because of her.

He should stay behing the scenes giving her support, being a dad or doing his own stuff.

we've waited this long for the album, I don't mind waiting another several months (until the FALL) for the release.

I just want the music to be perfection.
If that means getting back in the studio and re-recording the songs, then so be it.

I consider this so wrong. Nick had a career on his own before he even met Mariah. He's no global superstar, but he still did fine in the American showbusiness. Seeing him in the American Idol is also hilarious because he can be annoying at times, yet fun and friendly at heart. Downgrading him at this low just because he's married to Mariah it's not cute.

Guys I have a question and I would like to hear your thoughts.

I have been watching youtube vids of Mariah throughout the years and as a lamb I can hear the change in her voice from her debut era to her music box era (which is arguably quite subtle to the casual listener). My question is, could people at the time (hardcore fans included) tell that her voice had changed from 1990 to 1994, or is it the fact that now in 2012 when we look back in hindsight we can hear the difference and we now know the change that was yet to come. (I hope that makes sense).

I don't feel like downgrading him because he never been up there to me. The name of the show his on is America's Got Talent and his hosting skills is not that special. Like I said I never knew him before Mariah, like a lot of people. I do like him as a person and this is just my opinion towards him working with Mariah, I really think it will hurt her career but I'd be happy if he proved me wrong.
