There's been lots of picture and mentions of her in the studio lately so I doubt she would tease us this early if she wasnt going to release it until next year.

well to be fair, Mariah has NEVER explicitly said that she was releasing an album this year.

studio photos just tell us that she is recording.
It's not an indication of how far along she is in completing the album, because for all we know, many of the tracks won't even make the final cut.

I would love to get that album this year, especially in the Summer, but it's just music, it's like an 'expansion pack' to our lives :lol:

I don't think that not releasing an album this year will ruin my life 8-)

We just have to wait and see. The good thing is that we're getting 'Mesmerized' and I'm really happy with that. It's great that we have an opportunity to hear something new from her before the first single drops. :wink:

It's possible. But Mariah's being so serious about her craft that if anything gets delayed, it'll be for good reason.

It's also possible that he's being strategic about it.

Announcing that a product will see release on a later date only to turn around and announce that it's coming shortly before it's release is a tactic that usually drives consumers crazy...in a good way.

I love all the promo she gets from these shows!

Joshua from Idol and Melanie from X factor have done better jobs than Def Jam. She's always getting mentioned and they play her Depressing/Happy songs in the background all the time!
