I am so shocked with the digital performance of this song so far! I can't believe it is almost Top 15 with almost no Radio audience and no promotion but 1 "big" performance. I am extremely glad to see this and the Radio updates are fantastic!

And to be honest, I think it's climbing kinda slowly... I expected it to be in the top 10 shortly after that performance - I mean it's Katy Perry .

But Someone Like You was already in top 10 when Adele performed it at the VMAs and the song had a pretty big airplay, so it`s not an appropriate example.

I don`t want Wide Awake to skyrocket iTunes and then to plunge... I want it to climb slowly and steady and then hit the #1 spot like E.T.!

Have you been talking about SLY in the US or in the UK? Because in the UK, it was unknown before and her big performance directly got it at No. 1. In the US, you are right: A lot of people knew it and it had already some nice airplay!
