Do you support the legalization of Marijuana?

Of course, it's organic!

You go to a coffeeshop and they give you a menu with 25 different kinds of grass and weed and skunk and what not.
Even with marijuana being legal since many years The Netherlands has always managed to maintain a low crime rate

Have you tried any?

I think it should be legalised, and then of course heavily moderated and taxed. It just does not make sense to me that it is illegal and the consumption of alcohol is prommoted, in general the effects of people drinking too much on a night out are far worse than someone smoking too much. It all comes down to a stigma associated with weed, which only exists because it is illegal!

I agree though that the smell is abosolutely rank

Tax it and make it legal. Alcohol is far more dangerous.

This is a bit of a late reply... lol but no, I've never tried it. I can't see myself trying it either... It's just not my thing.

I really couldn't care less if it was legalised though. As you said, the only problem is the smell.

Not one single person has died due to marijuana.
It's organic, it's not addicting, it can do wonders to people with severe diseases...

Of course it should be legalized.

^ The bad thing about it is that you're consuming a smoke, but then again, it's the same with cigars.
It's hard to explain people that marijuana is safer than alcohol and cigarettes.

I decided to stop too, it really takes away your motivation and it makes you lazy, I'm already naturally lazy
I do miss it too, to me it was like a nice glass of wine, or two.

For everyone who hates the smell, legalization would mean more odorless edibles. For those who think the smoke is bad for you, vaporizers exist. Marijuana is no worse than alcohol and definitely not as bad as cigarettes.

I don't really care. But since it's currently not legalized, I'd like alcohol and cigarettes to be forbidden too.

I think the use of marijuana should be controlled. I don't use it and since I am drug tested at work I will probably never use it.

I have always wondered if marijuana smoke would contribute to getting lung cancer but since marijuana is illegal in most places, it is hard to do the same controlled studies that have been done with tobacco.

Still from what I have read

1. Many of the carcinogens and co-carcinogens present in tobacco smoke are also present in smoke from marijuana.

2. Marijuana smoking does cause inflammation and cell damage, and it has been associated with pre-cancerous changes in lung tissue.

3. Marijuana has been shown to cause immune system dysfunction, possibly predisposing individuals to cancer.

The hell with that!

My stance on this still hasn't changed - marijuana is vile. As are cigarettes.

Alcohol is crucial to life

I don't think it should, but I don't have much of an understanding of what the actual side affects of Marijuana. I just base my opinion based on the fact the only people I know who take drugs are morons who only talk about their drug use. I can only assume something is seriously wrong with them.

Except of bad smell, what makes alcohol that different than first two mentioned?

All are bad for your health.
I love my body too much to use anything.
Besides, I want to be enjoy life to its fullest and that's why I stay sober. When we've gone out, I am always the one who can enjoy it days later as I remember it all.
