Epic series! The blue/red games are the best in my opinion, here's my favourite tune:

Lavender Town Poor little Cuebone!
It's like the most trivial thing, but I still haven't forgotten that Cuebone and his mother.  #SeriousTrauma

"Lavander Town" is beyond amazing. And, it's even better backwards, I think. Melancholia.

I remember a track by Presley is one of his greatest of his best country music videos and many people who were not Elvis fans 100% and never bought his albums have no clue a great song like this exists. Several artists have covered this wonderful video song but this version is one of the best country music video I have ever seen. He even used the female background singers to great effect. Nothing about this was cheesy. His vocals are powerful. It's been said that Elvis on a good day couldn't be beat by anyone in popular music. Great video too. I agree with many of your posts Adam.

I checked some walkthroughs for Persona (only to get a glimpse of the gameplay) - and the music was really odd - for a video game that is. I assume that it is something you'll have to experience, and get used to.

I thought you liked 'odd'! Yeah the music is pretty different to anything I'd come across for a game, there are some fantastic pieces in the game and yes you need to experience the game alongside the music to get the full impact I guess!

Yes I do. And I'm quite used with this "genre" of music, but not in a video game. That's what I meant - especially since they're singing.

Why don't Nintendo arrange a big Mega Man rave with DJ's remixing the tunes heavily. I know I would go nuts. The beats and melodies are irresistible! Here's a few others:

Needle Man (I can't listen to this without shaking my head)

Snake Man (the 0:30 part.. gahhhh!)

Hard Man

Bubble Man (all Mega Man fans beloved Bubble Man theme)

Quick Man

Flash Man

Fire Man (unforgettable NES classic!)

Elec Man

Guts Man (the drama!!!)

Best thing about these are that they are so short yet so effective. There's plenty more of course, but.. enjoy! Although I've got the impression that there isn't as many Mega Man fans on UKMIX as there usually is on other places?

I mean... just listen to this - !?!?!?!?!?!? :o

Musicians should explore the world of video game music, they could find a lot to sample. This tune above bring tears to my eyes. The underrated Dr. Wily 1 Theme!

OMFG I remember this! I love you for this!

A lot of games have phenomenal music that isn't really acknowledged as you're playing.

I havent got links but the whole bossa Nova type music in FF13 is amazing. Love the atmosphere it gives.

aaliyahman!!! Do you also have lots of memories to Mega Man 1? Admit it, it's such a classic game! Many fans suggest that this would be better. Dr. Wily's theme from Mega Man 2, it's epic allright. But the first theme sounds more apocalyptic. Love both.

FF has never been a favourite game of mine, but I'm familiar with some of the music. Not that one in particular though. You can't find any links?

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!!!

We call it... "The event of life".

The Swedish National Symphonic Orchestra is having a concert tonight where they're going to play only video game music. From Zelda, Mega Man, Super Mario, Resident Evil, Banjo Kazooie, and many, many, many more!

This is something to tell my grand children!

Suikoden V Full OST

I listen to this almost on a daily basis. It's the whole Suikoden V soundtrack put together in one 5 hours video. It's perfect for doing studies or just relaxing!
