You know what's so funny...

I was just listening to that song...like literally.

Rihanna was singing "Where Have You Been" right when I was reading that...crazy huh?

What do you guys think about this April Fools prank about Bruno being gay?

Disappointing that it's not true.

I've been around, just held up with Uni stuff.
I'll be posting a bit more though, from now on.

As for the gay rumors, i knew they were false from Day 1. He's as straight as an arrow.

Plus even in the hypothetical event that they were true, coming out would've been career suicide. He's not that stupid.

This.

On another note, I'm glad that Bruno has dropped off the face of the Earth.

It means that he's really working hard on this album.

I'm excited.

Wmosi, how do you feel about an album full of songs that sounds like It Will Rain, One Sweet Day, Creep, Water Runs Dry and You're Making Me High...?

I'd like Bruno to try to use his voice in different ways on his next album... I dunno. I like him but after some listens I get a bit tired of his songs and I think this may be the reason, although -again- I do like his voice and his songs.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

That's part of the reason why I like It Will Rain so much. It's vocally dynamic.

I dunno. I have a feeling this album will be a bit more Electro- with Soul-influences.

He reworked his set this year - The Other Side Live 2012 for example (You can hear the electronic elements in the instrumental)and i have a feeling he's done with the whole 'retro' sound, at least i hope so.

The production on the Live version of It Will Rain also sounds like something off of Kanye's 808s & Heartbreaks.

You mean like Climax? Or like Aaliyah's Try Again...

I got you...

I wish I could've been at that concert.

i have a feeling he's done with the whole 'retro' sound, at least i hope so.
But...

...Runaway Baby and The Other Side sounds so good.

What do you want?

The retro thing was great and refreshing for what it was - one album/era, past that it would just get redundant.

What do i want?
An evolution of any kind. Better lyrics, harder instrumentals, less wedding songs. I want him to go all out, basically.
Doo Wops was too held-back.

True. I've seen it happen...

Well...Bruno's already stated that he doesn't really care about songwriting.

But his live performances always include these amazing instrumentals...so all he has to do is put it on his album.

I agree: Doo Wops and Hooligans was very restrained.

But what's wrong with crafting ballads like It Will Rain. And what do you have against that song?

The Live XFactor version of It Will Rain is probably the best thing he's ever done. The production is amazing, and the added intro is incredible.

The studio version though, is bland, lifeless and a drag to listen to. It really has no highlights.

Wmosi is the type of guy who fawns over songs like Just The Way You Are and Our First Time...

I love the studio version of IWR, but I agree that the live performance he did on X-factor shits all over the studio version. Every time I watch that performance I get chills, it's absolutely amazing!! :o
