Yes, there's a current rough patch on the UK's albums market for some strange reasons I don't know... Of course slow weeks are normal but there are dubiously many of them in the last months already.
I mean a No. 9-album selling 8k, the No. 2 album at 18k... Even in the summer slump, the UK is able to do far more!

Amazon has obviously reported judging by some of the others in top 20, but HDD seems to have underestimated the effect of the $0.99 deal. I wonder whether 21 will hang on to the Top 10 in the end.

21 is expected to hit #7-9 this week, but yeah - HDD underestimated discounted albums imo, so Adele could left top 10...hope it won't happen...

Timmy/ anyone else with knowledge of the German charts.

Can you please confirm how long 21 has spent in the top ten in Germany and if it holds the all-time record for most weeks in top ten by a solo artist. I found the link below and this suggests that the album Heintje (by Heintje!) held the record for solo artist with 64 weeks.

I believe 21 now holds this record so please confirm - we all want 21 to be confirmed as holding a German record! Thanks.

I think those numbers are in from Amazon, so Adele could end up higher.
