To a cynic, perhaps. To me, it was a fantastic way for her to share it with the world.NorfolkScot wrote:The way Bevonce annouced she was pregnant was just a quick cash in for sales and it was awfull.phoenix83 wrote:Who else could have hidden their pregnancy from the world until 2 months before the baby's due?
In my country it's called "dvadeset jedan" which means "21" in Serbian.phoenix83 wrote:That's what I assumed but just checking though.Nackar wrote:It's Twenty-one. True. It was cringworthy and I didn't smiled just a bit for her.NorfolkScot wrote:The way Bevonce annouced she was pregnant was just a quick cash in for sales and it was awfull.phoenix83 wrote:Who else could have hidden their pregnancy from the world until 2 months before the baby's due?

Absolutely agree with VoReason this time.VoReason wrote:To a cynic, perhaps. Norfolk's correct, it was done in the Madge/Gaga style just to grab some sales because her album and singles were not selling great.argentino78 wrote:Absolutely agree with VoReason this time.VoReason wrote:To a cynic, perhaps. Check your facts first, Madonna was shooting Evita in Buenos Aires when she announced she was pregnant. I can't see the "headlining grab" bit in that, other than one of world's biggest popstars getting pregnant.Masson wrote:Norfolk's correct, it was done in the Madge/Gaga style just to grab some sales because her album and singles were not selling great.argentino78 wrote:Absolutely agree with VoReason this time.VoReason wrote:To a cynic, perhaps. I think it might have problems staying in the top 10 for the rest of the month (or even the rest of the day if HDD has got it wrong), never mind the rest of the year!Timmy94 wrote:I think it'll have some problems to stay inside of the top 10 until the end of the year in the US...
The best option would be to release a last single, Turning Tables.
They could either shoot a very simple music video of her standing while singing the song, one of her best moments of the last 2 years or just a nice lyrics video.
Sending it to radio and releasing it officially in September, the album could hold until the end of the year and could gain another great sales.
Turning Tables would be just to push the album but could reach the top 20 (Q4 = quartal of the ballads) as a bonus in the end...

Hopefully she goes for the 2nd option! Rolling In The Deep came out in late 2010, and eventhough i see that song as her biggest classic, i'm over her domination after all this smashing!Spoffle wrote:And you're not the only oneemilhot wrote:I was happy for her success at first, but now i'm kinda tired of all this domination!![]()

. That's her problem in a nutshell: should she try to milk this while she can, or should she try to lower her profile to extend her career?
I'm sure she'd agree with you herself. But even when she disappears for months, 21 goes on selling, and people won't stop writing about hers so it's a problem she can't really do anything aboutemilhot wrote:Hopefully she goes for the 2nd option! Yeah it might still be on the charts, when her next album comes out in late 2014 or somethingSpoffle wrote:I'm sure she'd agree with you herself. It's definitely 21 (dvadtsat' odin) in Russian.phoenix83 wrote:Timmy94 wrote:Weird thought I had: when people who don't speak English think of the album "21", do you think of it as "twenty-one" or the number in your language ("vingt-et-un", "einundzwanzig" etc.)
