There is still some ways to go to reach Dark Side Of The Moon's, Nevermind's, Thriller's or Bob Marley's Legend's immortality, but I hope it'll get there someday 8-) .
Well in terms of performance in the upper echelons of the chart, which is what Phoenix83's comment was pertaining to, it has already surpassed the achievements of all 3 of those albums in nearly every country in which it has charted.
I'd love to know Thriller's chart runs in all countries. In terms of time in the higher chart echelons it's the only album that could possibly have done better worldwide. My belief is that 21 may have done even better (except that Thriller got to No 1 literally everywhere - whereas 21 has not done so in Spain or Japan).
Counting down the days until 21 outsells Morning Glory in the UK.
Mission complete on 29.12.2012 :)

A bit O/T, but does anyone know what's going on with the Amazon.com bestselling album chart? Various albums, including 21 and Uncaged by Zac Brown Band have disappeared altogether from the Top 100, though they're still listed under other categories such as "most wished for" or "gift ideas".

And while something like, say, Clockwork Angels by Rush in ranked like this:

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #4 in Music (See Top 100 in Music)
#3 in Music > Rock
#4 in Music > Pop

lots of other albums, like 21 and Uncaged, no longer have any ranking information in their descriptions at all. I haven't looked at the site for a while, so was wondering whether this is just a glitch, or is there some other reason for it?

EDIT: Looks like it must just be a glitch - both 21 and Uncaged have disappeared from "Gift Ideas" and "Most Wished For" now too :D
