I highly doubt this... It's not impossible to sell 2 mio. albums in the US, 2 mio. albums in Europe and 1 mio. albums in the rest of the world.
I mean POP/DANCE album, not as a whole.

Not really. Just because Gaga, Madonna and Britney might not be able to do so again doesn't mean Rihanna, Adele, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Katy Perry or any newcomer can't either.

Actually I'm pretty sure Talk That Talk will pass 5 Million in early 2013 even though it's much less Pop than her older albums, Mylo Xyloto will do it in the next few months, Adele's next album will sell 5 Million in two or three weeks, Bruno Mars is expected to have a new successful era too this year and Katy is still out there as well.

I think that's amazing, considering the type of the song. :)

Sorry for being OT but TTT will not sell 5m its like on 2.7 now and WHYB is the only potential hit from the album unless she rereleases it she will never reach 5m... I will say Bruno, Adele and Coldplay are the only acts with potential to sell 5m+

TEOG was discounted last week, but don't know what about the albums. I only know that TEOG and both albums have sales increase this week :)

@Coldplay

I think if everything just go really 'normal', ADELE's next album will go over 5 million copies in total globally easily...

I mean, is there a follow-up album which followed a 25-million or even bigger seller failed to move 5 million copies? She might actually move 3 million copies on her first week, then at least another million on her second. It's really not hard for ADELE to do 5 million copies in total ever if her new music doesn't connect.

Btw, I wouldn't count Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" regardless because it was released before "Born This Way". If anyone counts it there could be like, an album from the 60s that sold 4.99 million copies and achieve its 5 millionth copy this year and takes the title...
I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure.

It's been a huge-sales-week overall, wasn't it there, arab?
Could we also expect a huge No.-1 again, like we were used to back in the day when it comes to Japanese No. 1s 8-) ?
