It was the weak lead-single, no promo, brit was at the beginning of the era absolutely not into it (TTWE-Videodouble and and and), her euro-pop-sound disappointed a lot of her fans, radio (europe) blocked her songs in major markets... to sell 500k+ she has to change a lot... not only the quarter of release

Please, don´t be too rude to me...

If you add all her opening sales and divide them per album it's around 500k

talking about quality, i don't say the song is bad. it is good. it used to be my most played britney song but I don't know why i rarely play this song now. It's not like when it first released, i repeated it again and again.

That's normal I think. I noticed this too: At first you really love a song and so, you play it a lot of course. After some time, you're totally over them and can't hear them anymore.

The real amazing songs, the 10/10s, are the very few which you can still hear after like 5 years and they still sound interesting and fresh...
