A thriller that nobody had foreseen!:o
This is incredible sport! My body just shivers as electric shocks, continuously through the entire competition.
Marit Bjoergen shows again that she is about to become one of the greatest athletes in winter sports ever on the women's side. Congratulations! However, I feel very sorry of
Jystina Kowalczyk from Poland, who time after time remains in Marit's shadow, silver for silver. She apparently did'nt want to talk about her opponent in her interview with Swedish television after the race, although she says she is happy for her medal. I sincerely hope that she gets to win, at leaste once during this World Cup. She showed that she could challenge Bjoergen, who was not at all equally superb today as she usually is. WHAT A FIGHT!
Otherwise, the Finnish ladies did an incomparable achievment in this race, four Finnish names among the top eight over the finish line, which bodes well for the women's relay on Wednesday. What, however, I can not say for our Swedish team, who did not impress or show the capacity that we know exists. It is frustrating!
GOLD: Marit Bjoergen (Norway)
SILVER: Jystina Kowalczyk (Poland)
BRONZE: Aino-Kaisa Saarinen (Finland)
