Finished reading The Help the other day, really brilliant book. I've yet to see the film but have heard good things so I've bought it on DVD.

Over the last two days, I've read 'The Art Of Racing In The Rain' by Garth Stein. Such a thought-provoking book about the life of a dog told through the dog's eyes. It so was engaging that I simply couldn't put it down.

Just finished reading this. Such an interesting storyline which just happens to include some casual BDSM. Very good book.

^ I was thinking about getting that book; is it really that good (what I mean is there a plot or all sex)?

On reflection, it wasn't as amazing as its hype. It's quite fascinating in parts but it's not that well written and the plot is very thin on the ground. It's decent fluff though!

I know the thread title is "What Are You Currently Reading", but i recently finished "Der Ripper" (Translated The Ripper).

Many of you should know Jack The Ripper. A ruthless killer, who loves to cut through human bodies and bones, famously in London.

In this book, The Ripper kills a few people somewhere in London. A boy called "Trevor Bently" escapes from the murders bloodlust. The Ripper decides to travel to America to make his name famous there and ofc to kill furthermore. Trevor decides to follow The Ripper, as he wants to take revenge because of the killed people. He meets many people in his journey.. In a twisted plot, he lives with The Ripper literally together on their journey to America till they are face to face in their last showdown in America.

It was really exciting. It's obviously not a comedy book as you see. It's more like a horror book and isn't made for weak hearts. But i recommend you to read this book, as i really enjoyed it in a horrific feeling whenever it was dark :P.

Absolutley breathtaking!! Style writing is so good.. Storyline is so devastating and depressing, yet it's so easy to read.. And best part is characters, writer made them so real, he showed good and bad sides of personality of every character in story...
