My top 5 videos of 2011 so far:
1. Katy Perry - E.T. (feat. Kanye West)
2. Rihanna - California King Bed
3. Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect
4. Lady Gaga - Judas
5. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

But well since it's MTV, I'm pretty sure every award will not only be given to a great video, but more like to a huge hit, so I'm expecting 'E.T.' to swap the awards. I won't even surprise if Adele got some nominations with 'Rolling In The Deep' or Gaga with 'Born This Way'.

I wonder how good will JLo do this year :) I want her to get nominated and win!!!! She has the most watched video of the year so far! I'd be glad if she can get BEST DANCE or BEST FEMALE, my predictions for
VIDEO OF THE YEAR:

1. Adele - Roling in the Deep
2. Katy Perry - E.T.
3. KAnye West - All of the Lights
4. Bruno Mars - Grenade
5. Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough

I'll laugh so hard if this is true. AOTL is a great song but the video is unworthy a nomination imo oops:

MTV will surely give him the award. They're afraid of him doing a mess as usual if the award is given to someone else

They would be happy if that happened. It's not like they hate controversies.

Of course, they want more controversy. I don't think Kanye will win though, his relevance in music and urban culture has somewhat declined. :-?

The 'All of the Lights' video does not deserve a nomination, it's nothing special. 'Runaway' and 'Power' are far better videos.

IMO, the best videos of the last 6 months or so are:
- Katy Perry // E.T.
- LMFAO // Party Rock Anthem
- Ke$ha // Blow
- Bruno Mars // The Lazy Song

Party Rock Anthem? Are you kidding?
Judas by Lady Gaga was way better... The song might be controversial but the video IS great.

E.T. is the best video of the year so far!
And what about Moment 4 Life by Nicki Minaj? Imo, it should be included, too 8-) .

The only video that deserves a Video of the year nomination till now is E.T.
MTV will definitely be kissing Gaga's ass this year too, The disastrous BTW will be up for a few nods (VOTY nomination would be a crime :x )
When will the nominations be out?
I don't think you know...

I wouldn't mind MTV stanning for Beyonce once again. Why Don't You Love Me deserves a nomination 10000x more than Video Phone Remix.

No... I'm not lol. Like Crazy4Brit said, that song is *gigantic* here, it's been #1 for five weeks straight, six next week. When people mention the song, they always mention the awesome video as well.

'Judas' is a great song and also has a great video, but it would probably rank about 7th of 2011 so far (for me personally).

Grammys should be the one scrapped, they don't nominate the ones who deserve to get nominated anymore! What's worse, is that they are going to give less awards from now on!
