Ridiculous as hell!!! The song is ok, but...
I don't know if anyone noticed, but I think that the song can beat Adele's Rolling In The Deep as the longest running Hot 100 number 1 song. PRA is now at 64 weeks, while RITD is at 65 weeks.

Yes, I've already noticed this. It's sad, cause RITD is way way way better than Party...Anyway, it's a party anthem, so...

^ It's not sad at all. After all, 9,3 million people already own the song on an album copy, so they won't be downloading it anymore

LMFAO can't say the same, obviously!

Do you think they can stay in the HOT 100 for 2 more weeks? This week they fell from #42 to #45. And their digital sales went down, currently PRA is only at n78 on itunes. So I'm a little bit worried. But I think if they can survive this next week, the week after will be a little more easier, because they will have Much music video awards promo.

They should finally let the song die  .
And LMFAO's label should think about a 4th US single to guarantee the album going Platinum  . In the meantime they should record their next album to release it in late 2012 once the 4th single is done  .

Really? It's so strange, 'cause here in Switzerland it was such a hit! Wasted chance in the US ?

At the time, Party Rock Anthem was still going so strong I don't think it would've done much. At least it became a hit in Australia and some other territories!

I'm not talking about charts here, just about the music. I mean, during one month, in every party we went, this song was played over and over! It may not have been a chart hit, but this track is much more remembered now than SAIKI, for example

Are you sure that Champagne Showers is bigger than Sexy And I Know It in terms of impact in Switzerland?
Because in Germany, it's the obvious opposite...

It's insane to think that this has sold more either Katy Perry or Rihanna there. In how many other albums is that the case?

It doesn't fit here but as there's no thread about the first album:

France:
56 (NEW) Party Rock 1 week (No. 56 for 1 week)

It's the first time the album charts on a European country's Albums Chart!

Strangely, Sorry For Party Rocking left the chart the same week Party Rock entered. Was it a mistake?

And it managed another week on the chart moving 50-49... The song is horrible but to see it still charting is really outstanding!
Makes me wonder if this could break some records on the catalog chart if it already proves such longevity on the Billboard Hot 100!
