Worse? I would like to see some arguments explaining how the clean and non-vociferous sound from vinyl, CD or digital downloads can sound worse than the schizophrenic sound you get when downloading from Pirate Bay, Youtube etc.

No, it's not the matter of what sounds better. The subject matter can be the price of the legal copy, availability of legal copies where you live etc. I personally don't always have a choice and quite often can find music on YT only.

Well where I get my downloads from (if illegal) are ripped from the CD anyway in most cases (m4a) so the quality is fine. I obviously prefer CD's though.

I legally downloaded MDNA but I wanted the bonus track off a Japanese version of the album so I downloaded that off torrents and the quality was 100% the same as my legal copy, I was quite shocked.

I have a sound system that sounds so crystal clear it's a pleasure for the ears, but for some reason, only original CDs sound perfect when I use it! It sounds like as if the bass and other elements of the songs were a bit out of place or too loud/too quiet when I use an USB stick with mp3 files or a CD written by me with mp3s. FLAC would be better I guess, but the player is not able to play that format, so I always try to buy everything on CD, it's really worth it.

I don't like listening to music through earphones for too long, so it's not like I rip the CD and use it as a dust collector afterwards.

This is not true.

Unfortunately, my iTunes card ran out of money and I have been forced to download illegal music. Of course I'll still buy albums, but only the ones I really love. There's also the case where artists don't release their music in my country and it really leaves me no other choice.

And the music I illegally download is as good as the legal files.
For instance, I downloaded Beyoncé's 4 when it first leaked. When the album came out, I went out to get it and the leaked file sounded exactly the same as the original (in fact, it sounded better because it was explicit).

So only lazy people will listen to sh-t quality music because it doesn't take too much effort finding CD-quality music.

Illegal music isn't necessarily lower in quality. You can easily find music that sounds just as good as the legal music. :wink:

^ It was sooooo good. A worthy closer to a brilliant trilogy. I think this might be my favorite one out of the three. The plot twists and characters are so awesome. I'm going to see it again Tueday with some friends!

The horrible incident in Colorado left a bad taste in my mouth though. I realized it could've happened at my screening that night. So scary and I'm so sad for all the victims...
