Cee Lo: i wouldn't have picked The Shields Brothers - one can't sing and the other one barely tries!
I love that Billy Idol song, too but that's a joke.

Great rework of Rehab.

Sera Hill actually looks like a young Mary J Blige!

Adley Stump :o  She did a good Alanis-y version of Carrie.

Once again, Blake has the best team: Charlotte Sometimes, Jordis Unga, Jermaine Paul, Alyx, Gwen Sebastian, Naia Kete, Lex Land and Adley Stump are all good/ interesting.

The old blues guy was a great personality but it's clear that his voice was not exceptional, they just felt bad cause of his age.

The guy that did Alanis was freakishly good - should have been picked.

:o I'm glad i wasn't Christina having to choose between Anthony and Jesse. It was like watching R Kelly duet with himself!

Jordis was lucky but glad she's through.

Would have picked Adley Stump - that name is now gone.

I'm just behind, not gone off it at all!

Currently in the middle of the battle rounds episode.

I found Tony Vincent really annoying. Really really liked Mathai and Jamie Lono, the sandwich boy.

From episode 5, I thought Wade and his 'Rehab' were brilliant. Didn't think Adley Stump was very special at all.

Favourites going into the battle rounds: Lindsay Pavao, Pip, Gwen Sebastian, The Line, Mathai, Jamie Lono and Wade.

Of the battles I've seen, the one Jordis won was an absolute mess on both parts, the one Cheesa won was great on both parts, the one between Chris and the Mouseketeer was excellent - I actually thought Chris stepped up his game and took it - same with Adley Stump. Didn't rate her audition at all and despite preferring Rae Lynn before, I think Adley stole it. The one between Monique and Chris Mann was just amazing - don't like his attitude but they both deserved it. Preferred Monique though.

The first few battles I thought the wrong ones went through. Especially losing Monique, I loved her. I was glad Cee-Lo chose Cheesa, I find her so interesting and her voice is unique! She looks a little bit like Rihanna.

Jordis and Brian's battle was awful! I did prefer Jordis overall though.

Anthony and Jesse were just insane! Anthony was more likeable so I kinda wanted him to win.

Yes I LOVED Wade and his version of "Rehab", can't wait to see him again.

So, second lot of battles..

Geoff vs Sera - very impressive, and Geoff probably had more clarity and soul to his voice but I felt like Sera really did everything she could and impressed more. I did think Geoff would be put through but glad Sera is through!

Charlotte vs Lex - Not sure I liked Charlotte's attitude at all times :S I actually thought Lex brought more interesting stuff to the song, but Charlotte is definitely rhe better performer. Not sure I like her as much anymore though. Though probably more than Lex does :p

Juliette vs Sarah - Considering I liked Juliette from the start and didn't rate Sarah, I found myself rooting for the latter a bit as she came across so well as a person. But as Christina said (I think) it was a no brainer, Juliette deserved that.

Kim vs Whitney - I really don't get the appeal in Kim at all. She has one sound, which is well sung, but she sticks to it, there's nothing interesting about her voice, Whitney was so much more than that, and though I didn't think the battle was at all epic or as great as Blake said, she gave me more. Feel bad that Adam pretty much promised her a win then got rid!

Lee vs Lindsay - Obvious from the start though from rehearsals to live, Lee got a lot lot better. I thought they both sounded a bit off actually, Lindsay deserved to go through but at the same time having been my favourite, really disappointed me.

Jamie vs Jamar - Legit sobbing at this one. Such a shame two of my favourites had to go head to head. LOVE Jamie Lono but let's be honest, he was left in the shadows by the single best performance of the battle rounds so far. Jamar was just incredible, and thinking back to his audition, is probably my overall favourite right now.

Overall I'd say Cee-Lo or Christina has the best team as we advance!

Charlotte, Juliette, Lindsay (who actually broke the Billboard Top 30 with Say Aah).

Somwehat bizarre seeing Lionel Richie teaching someone how to sing a Nirvana song.

Really enjoyed the last episode, the talent is even better this year imo, I agreed with all the choices in the battle rounds this week, often there is times, when I think they pick the wrong act in the battle rounds for live shows but not this time.

I actually think the talent this year on The Voice is better then AI, Christina's team is super strong and Adam has some great contestants in his team too, even Cee-lo, can't wait for the nest episode, loving the Voice.

I just realised that I remember Jamar from American Idol, he was amazing on that too and got cut too early. Glad he's getting a shot on this.

Glad Sera got through. I thought Lex had the bad attitude in her pairing with Charlotte, she was proper sulky at the end! Juliette was streets ahead of Sarah. I love Kim, she really sang "No More Drama" much more nicely than Whitney. Lee and Lindsay were kinda equal for me so didn't mind who went through.

Okay, more battles!

Nathan vs Pip - Pip was one of my very favourites from the get go. I have to say though that Nathan truly surprised me and kept the standard of the entire thing high. I do think Pip has more to his voice though and delighted he progressed.

Erin vs Shields Brothers - Just odd! Neither of them has a voice good enough to get through, and the harmonies for me from the boys were not 'on point' as Christina reckoned. Erin has a little bit of Shingai from the Noisettes about her just nowhere near as vocally talented. Still, she can probably do more in the competition, just not the right song.

Ashley vs Jonathas - Well I liked Ashley before for doing Shark In The Water but had sort of forgotten her, whereas I thought Jonathas was great. However, he just got outsung here and I think at times he was off key! Neither were perfect but J didn't do much vocally to attract attention whereas Ashley surprised me. She deserved it!

ALyX vs Jermaine - I hated Jermaine's attitude in the blinds but this chick is super annoying anyway. He smashed her out the park, no contest.

Angel vs Katrina - Having agreed with all the decisions so far, not sure about this one. I think Katrina has the most beautiful tone and showed it in rehearsal but then just belted the entire live showing, and that didn't show it off. Was surprised every judge throught Katrina took it as I thought Angel was great. Really like Katrina so not dismayed just surprised.

Erin vs Gwen - I'm glad this was a very even (and brilliant) battle as before I love love loved Gwen and thought nothing of Erin and was super annoyed the illness of her Dad (however sad) might swing it. I still think it possibly did, but she really held her own, she was very crisp and beautiful in her verse. As Blake said, Gwen took more risks, she got really great towards the end. Shame she left as she was such a lovely woman too! Overall I'd have picked Gwen but Erin did do a great job so fair play.

Teams as we advance - Adam really did strengthen his with the addition of Pip and Katrina. I like Tony to an extent but don't rate Kim.

Blake's is actually pretty good and diverse, Jermaine proved himself, Erin did great. Charlotte too. Jordis and Rae Lynn will have to do better than their battles.

Cee-Lo's is great with Chessa, Juliette and especially Jamar. Adding Erin didn't make it especially stronger for me.

Christina's is great with Jesse, Lindsay, Sera, Chris and now Ashley.

My favourites are Pip and Jamar. Charlotte, Lindsay and Jermaine have all done one amazing performance and could be up there.

Agree about Erin1 - that was just odd but she's got something maybe...

I too think the ill dad swung it for Erin2. Though they were both good.

I thought Katrina was easily better than Angel.

Nathan and Pip was hard, both really good. Probably would've gone with Pip though because he had more confidence in himself.

Surprised with Erin's attitude, she didn't seem that much of a diva in the audition! I was surprised with the Shields Brothers and how decent they sounded, Erin was pretty bad on that song! :o

Ashley and Jonathas was a great pairing, watching Jonathis I do think he's very copycat of Usher's performance style but his voice is so good, it was just a bit one level this time. Both of them were great, Ashley maybe stood out more.

Jermaine wiped the floor with Alyx I think, she didn't really stand a chance!

I loved Katrina at her audition, don't remember Angel? Both did well and I loved the last note but Katrina brought a vulnerability to the song and I preferred her overall.

Erin and Gwen was pretty evenly matched, so either could've got it. I slightly preferred Gwen.

I'm shocked when i know Charlotte is Eliminated. She's the best of Blake's team (unique, can sing, stage performance, confidence) but her sing-off is not good as her previous.

I hop Ceelo not do the same to Juliet (if she fall to sings-off).

I'm like a week behind, the last battle round show was pretty unremarkable apart from the final battle which was brilliant.

Going in to the live shows I'd say Christina and Adam have the best teams.

Okay lots to write.. first up the battles

Blondini wrote:Tony Martin - glad he was through.
Oh god no, I thought Tony was horrible, thought Justin absolutely killed it! Gutted about that.

Moses vs The Line - thought this was the wrong decision too. The girl in the Line really went to town and did amazing in my book, whereas I don't rate Moses at all.

Naia vs Jordan - neither of these were particularly great at all and we all know how much I love that song! Naia did deserve to progress but she was a let down.

James Massone vs Wade - Big fan of Wade from first audition but he totally 'did a Naia' and came in with no confidence and failed it. James, truthfully, took that.

Mathai vs Nicole - Well I never rated Nicole initially whereas Mathai was one of my favourite auditions. There was no competition here, Mathai's take was brilliant though I applaud Nicole for being so gracious in defeat..

Karla vs Orlando - Well this was a no brainer with regards to who would progess. I barely even remember Karla. But shock horror, she was brilliant and got through - very happy about that but was not expecting!

So entering the lives, my favourites are..
Pip
Mathai
Charlotte
Jamar
Lindsay

Okay so the live showing..
01. Ashley de la Rosa - Right Through You
Shock No.1! So very taken with this girl and this performance. She came out of nowhere and delivered a great showing! Did not know she was a rock girl. LOVED it.

02. Erin Willett - Living For The City
Shock No.2! Until the middle/end where it all went a bit generic and less special, this girl was KILLING this song! Blake was right, technically it was superb, I loved her delivery so very much!

03. Charlotte Sometimes - Misery Business
This was really impressive. A very Florence-esque take on the song, I loved the arrangement, the big parts, the drawn in parts. Very impressed.

04. Lindsey Pavao - Somebody That I Used To Know
I did enjoy this BUT it just felt a bit Kimbra anyway, like she didn't do that much to it? I prefer when she takes songs outside her preferred genre and adds her creepy vocals, ala 'Say Aah'..

05. Jesse Campbell - What A Wonderful World
Technically - brilliant. Very pleasant to listen to, some nice nuances on the notes. Just didn't move me as others have.

06. Chris Mann - Bridge Over Troubled Water
Somewhere along the same lines as Jesse - I was impressed with how beautiful it was (though some of it was way too strung out), but I didn't get excited by it.

07. Sera Hill - Find Your Love
This was the other way around - I got excited by it but don't think it was that brilliant executed - was probably the song more than anything.

08. Jermaine Paul - Livin' On A Prayer
Far too screechy at times, like it all started off too high for him. What an odd choice anyway. Some parts were really great but it wasn't consistent enough.

09. RaeLynn - Wake Up Call
Actually very much enjoyed this arrangement, works very well as a country song! However I don't always find RaeLynn's voice that pleasant to listen to - quite grating and quite breathy. She definitely gave it some gusto though!

10. Jordis Unga - Alone
I feel like maybe I'm being a bit harsh on this. There were definitely some killer moments and massive notes which were very commendable. But the rest of it I found forgettable.

11. Naia Kete - Turning Tables
Wrong song choice entirely. She by no means has the voice to keep up with Adele! She has some very nice tone at times but this was not the song for her!

12. Moses Stone - Stronger/Power
On a competition called The Voice, not good enough.

So my picks would have been:
Christina - Ashley, Lindsay, Jesse (Chris)
Blake - Erin, Charlotte, Jermaine (Rae Lynn)

VERY surprised Charlotte wasn't picked by the public, let alone then missed again by Blake! To be fair, her 'Iris', while emotional, didn't really go anywhere. There was definitely something about Jordis' save me song. Naia did not fare so well.

I really hoped Ashley would get the public vote, but delighted she still made it through even if she may well leave next week. I thought her 'Paris' was superb and really exciting - now there with Pip, Jamar and Mathai as my favourite contestant! Sera was a lot better in her sing off, but not special enough, Moses didn't stand a chance!

Blake Shelton's and Christina Aguilera’s teams were the first up to compete for America’s votes. And while I’ve learned that performances can be a quite different animal on TV compared to experiencing them live and with a jazzed-up crowd, I’ll venture to say that I thought the night had some strong performances (Erin Willett, Jordis Unger, Jesse Campbell) and ones that pulled off some surprising range (Jermaine Paul, Naia Kete).

But you came here to read about the behind-the-scenes action. So without any further ado, here are 9 things that you didn’t see on television.
1. Turn up the air conditioner, please. Of all the singing competitions I’ve attended live, I sincerely enjoy attending The Voice the most. But there is one thing that continues to be a problem at the Warner Bros. Studio Lot Stage: It’s still really hot in there. Someone has got to take a look at that air conditioner.

2. No bullying allowed. I’m going to try and leave the warm-up guy (who I’m told by other reporters uses the same jokes at different shows) alone this year. He’s a necessary evil if the series wants the audience to stay energetic through the two-hour taping. But he said something that I’m not sure I’ve ever heard him say before.

As you probably know, The Voice prides itself on being the nice singing show (at least to the performers -- between the coaches is another story). So the warm-up guy tells the crowd that there’s no booing allowed. “If you liked the performance, scream and yell and be supportive,” he said. “And if you don’t like the performance, then scream and yell and be supportive.” Well, that makes it easy, doesn't it?

3. It’s not all live, but duh. Typically, I’ve experienced that if a show can pre-tape something before the live show airs, it will. With plenty of moving parts that could go wrong during a live show and if pre-taping a segment doesn’t affect the competition results, then why not? Monday’s episode taped the entire opening segment up until Jermaine’s performance. I believe it took about two takes to get it right.

4. Sorry, Bieber is not here. I said I was going to leave the warm-up guy alone, didn’t I? Well, this was too good not to mention. There was a group of eight-year-olds who had signs saying, “We love you, Adam. You have moves like Jagger.” And the guy decided to ask the girls what they thought “moves like Jagger” meant. They clearly had no clue, but he kept asking them repeatedly. Awkward. It ended with him asking if they like Justin Bieber too -- and this was surreal -- one of the girls started screaming as if she thought the pop star was going to walk into the studio like some episode of Punk'd. Again, awkward.

5. Christina is putty in her fans' hands. Part of the levity of the night was seeing its diva coach running around without her shoes on and signing autographs. There was also a fan who came all the way from Brazil to see the show and she got up to give him a hug. Aww.

6. A celebration of Betty White. As you saw on the show, Betty White was there to promote her new prank series, Betty White’s Off Their Rockers. What you didn’t see was that during the commercial break, the production played the Golden Girls theme in her honor.

7. Carson Daly is bound to shake it. I always know that the host is going to bust a move. They’re usually very short spurts of activity, so you really have to keep an eye on him. During Monday’s commercial breaks, he fist-pumped during one song and then did a crazy little jig with Jordis’ dad, who was wearing a traditional grass skirt. He later told me that it was in observance of the king of Tonga’s recent death.

8. Things would be purrfect for Cee Lo if only… the production allowed the coach to bring his new mascot, Purrfect the cat, to live shows. I overheard Cee Lo Green saying that he wasn’t allowed to bring his new feline friend, since the production feared that it would freak out from the loud sounds and lighting of the live show. That may explain Cee Lo’s outfit Monday night. He lost it over the cat.

9. The Voice groupies. Several young women seated in front of me told the warm-up guy that they were wearing Team Blake T-shirts. When the coach heard, he turned around and gave them a big wave. This is the same group of women, by the way, who counted to four and then screamed, “We love you, Adam,” earlier in the taping. Is there such a thing as The Voice groupies? Note: This expression of fandom was much cuter with the eight-year-olds.
The Voice results show airs Tuesday at 9 p.m.

I'm not into the show too much this season. I thought was gonna be great but I think all contestants are weak. American Idol (which a thought would be bad) is better this season.

I think Jesse has the best voice but he doesn't have star quality (no presence, no looks, no confidence). On the other hand, Alicia Keys 's backup singer, has a lot of confidence but he comes across very arrogant.
The girl who her dad passed away is good.
Other than that I don't really care about anyone.
They told me get em, I got em!
