Hurray for the chart! So many wonderful discoveries! I didn't know Alanis's got so much talent in her tiny body! I can't check them all today because of the mega slow internet connection (the end of the month...). But I'd do it some time soon. Thanks for Bill and everyone!

tapes is sooo great. Together with Moratorium it's my fave song off Flavours. You Oughta Know is amazing. I would rank it top 10 myself. Everything is despite the lyrics quite fluffy and uplifitng. I love it.

precious illusion is def. one of the songs I remember from my least favourite alanis album :lol:

It's a good one too.

I have to confess that I rarely listen to the extra songs on Flavors.. Orchid is def. a beautiful slow song.

I know that most of my comments were very positive during the countdown but it is because Alanis is just such an amazing artist and she has so many amazing songs and even the ones i rarely listen are still above average. That is why I cannot understand how her fanbase practically abandoned her after Jagged Little Pill. People must think the material got worse but I have to say that the opposite is the case. I prefer her later material over Jagged Little Pill (by a large bit).

Whatever direction she takes, she always adds the "Alanis-factor" to it that is why you can always tell it's her and you can always say which song belongs to what album.

Alanis is unique.
