If I'm reading the forum correctly, that means another shipment of 2k albums out to retailers. And that this is his 3rd shipment out. Anyone know what the AA and AB shipments were? I would assume 3-5k each, but not sure how big NG is there.

AA ????
AB ????
AC 2.000
Just found his first 2 shipments.

AA 2.000
AB 3.000
AC 2.000

Total 7k shipments. Hope he can get some more runs there with some promotion and a few more concerts.

That puts him 13k behind a Gold certification. He'd have to have a tremendous rush for shipments to increase to a point where he'd make it. But hopefully as you say, he can get a few more thousand or so. :D

So it fell 10 spots to number 43. Sales should be close to about 630k.

I'm pretty sure it passed Dig Out Your Soul. I think that's the only Oasis album he is going to pass. As SOTSOG is close to 700k.

The festivals and the second arena tour, along with the RHCP support slot should keep sales steady through most of the year. So SOTSOG is still a possibility.

I think 700k is doable, but I'm thinking another year from now, when he releases the other album. You know how folks pick up older releases when a new one comes out. I checked the Oasis boards and from the last edit of Feb. 2012, SOTOG is at 685k. If you think from the festivals and the other arena tour that he could put together 10 more weeks of 2,500 a week, just round number, which I think is possible, that put's him at 655-660k, so I would think another 40k lifetime is very doable. It will be fun to see how it plays out at the end of the tour when the holidays roll around, to see if management will 'drop price' or do one last push before the 'rest' period and 'promo' on album #2.

UK Independent Singles Chart from 4/23/12:

- AKA... What A Life!: #30 this week
- Down from #27 the week prior

Not sure what the Independent Chart run is for this song. Not sure if it matters since it's not on the big chart, but it's still charting somewhere.

After revised numbers for the week.

Noel is still at #14 for UK YTD after dropping 2 spots last week.

14 - 12 - 136,700 - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - 629,200 - 29/10/11 - 8

If he can stay #14 like he did last year, that will make for an awesome year, but unlikely, but still hopeful.

He'll probably sell more than Different Gear Still Speeding in two different years.

But that is physical copies going to retailers. That doesn't include people buying digital, ordering physical copies from online sources such as NG.com

I don't know what the Brasil music business looks like.
