Huh? Really? The appearance was on Friday correct? Was it early enough that the proceeding sales from there could be counted on the charts?Nackar wrote:It actually had a drop this week? That's weird... so the boost for his performance was the week BEFORE he even performed?arab wrote:Japan

That's so weird.Nackar wrote:The performance was on Friday the 25th. This week counted from Tuesday the 22nd to Monday the 28th, so by all accounts the sales increase should be this week.
Yet the chart position and sales were better the chart week before, that ended on Monday the 21st!
Thx for the Japan numbers Arab. Inching closer to the 75k mark. Hopefully the festival he and BDi do there will help both albums and get Noel over that 75k threshold.arab wrote:Japan

His sales are really impressive
Do you know what the last Oasis album actually did in Japan? I can't find their figures...MoonNova wrote:Thx for the Japan numbers Arab. Inching closer to the 75k mark. Hopefully the festival he and BDi do there will help both albums and get Noel over that 75k threshold.arab wrote:Japan

They both are a bit off from the last Oasis album, but together, that would have been pretty respectable in that country.
What is Gold/Platinum status in Japan? I'll check back on some of the Oasis boards but I thought DOYS did 200k or better in Japan, but I could be remembering a different country.Nackar wrote:Do you know what the last Oasis album actually did in Japan? To be honest, Japan is an incredibly hard nut to crack for male solo artists, especially rock artists, let alone Western male solo rock artists, so this is great! Secretly would've liked it to go Gold, though.
