Scottish Album Charts from 5/28/12:

- #38 this week

32 weeks. I only got the Top 40, so after he dropped from there, not sure where he went.

It actually had a drop this week? That's weird... so the boost for his performance was the week BEFORE he even performed?

Huh? Really? The appearance was on Friday correct? Was it early enough that the proceeding sales from there could be counted on the charts?

The performance was on Friday the 25th. This week counted from Tuesday the 22nd to Monday the 28th, so by all accounts the sales increase should be this week.

Yet the chart position and sales were better the chart week before, that ended on Monday the 21st!

Below are the estimates sold last week on UK Chart.

- #63: 2,250
- #60 ended up selling 2,371 copies

Another week over 2k. Another 3-4 weeks and should be at 650k, which is incredible I think. Never would have thought...

18 - 18 - 148800 - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - 641300 - 29/10/11 - 8

Should hold Top 20 for another few weeks. Still great if he can stay in Top 20 for first 6 mos. of year. Pretty good I would think.

Looks like Noel might outsell Beady Eye's sales in two consecutive years. He's already sold 150K in 2012!

And I expect a boost in sales around festival time same as BDi got.

Thx for the Japan numbers Arab. Inching closer to the 75k mark. Hopefully the festival he and BDi do there will help both albums and get Noel over that 75k threshold.

They both are a bit off from the last Oasis album, but together, that would have been pretty respectable in that country.

Peru didn't do so hot for 'The Chief', but the rest of the tour has seemed to do respectable numbers.

Do you know what the last Oasis album actually did in Japan? I can't find their figures...

To be honest, Japan is an incredibly hard nut to crack for male solo artists, especially rock artists, let alone Western male solo rock artists, so this is great! Secretly would've liked it to go Gold, though.

What is Gold/Platinum status in Japan? I'll check back on some of the Oasis boards but I thought DOYS did 200k or better in Japan, but I could be remembering a different country.

Gold is 100k, Platinum 250k. If you could find some info for me it would be much appreciated, but don't try TOO hard, haha ; )

Found another boxscore although a bit lower.

152 Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Royal Oak Music Theatre
Royal Oak, Mich.
March 31, 2012
$68,100
1,700 /
1,700
1/

$75, $35
AEG Live

At least it's a sellout. Kinda odd seeing him doing those small venues, when he has sold out arenas for so long in other parts of the world.
