Like how does this even make sense, it's all over the place especially when she gets to "I'm the one who left you".Lying on a fake beach,
You'll never get a tan.
Baby, I'm gonna leave you drowning,
Until you reach for my hand.
In the night your heart is full
And by the morning empty.
But baby, I'm the one who left you,
You're not the one who left me.
Why is she releasing the song so late? Is this usual in the UK?Blondini wrote:October 3rd. At least it's not Sugababes' Freedom which has been promoted for 3 months!joiPrince_JO wrote:Gosh, when is this finally being released????
Maybe in the UK but nothing like this ever happened in the US, right?Fan wrote:So that makes it 6 weeks, which is not unusual at all.
All About Tonight premiered in the beginning of July and was only released two weeks ago. And most songs premiere 6/7 weeks before they go on sale.
The US used to delay releases over a decade ago - but it's different there as radio is such a factor in the charts. So a song is released to radio first - and a big deal is made of this. This is partly why the physical single ceased to exist over there. Radio could make a hit, rather than sales. That's not the case here - we have always geared marketing towards a sales date when people are familiar with a song - this maximises the song's chart position. The on air/ on sale thing has been semi-abandoned after a few notable disasters. Though the likes of Coldplay are carrying on with it.joiPrince_JO wrote:Maybe in the UK but nothing like this ever happened in the US, right?Fan wrote:So that makes it 6 weeks, which is not unusual at all.
