I really hope she changes up her sound. I love Kelly so much just really over Max M. as a producer. Hopefully he did not produce this. :-?

Still very excited for the new era have been a HUGE kelly fan since day one have seen her in concert and bought all of her albums. I hope she can land another #1 on the H100 Maybe they should start with some Airplay and put the song out a week or two later.

I may be new and support Rihanna the most right now,but Kelly Clarkson has always been a huge deal for me. I was literally dying when i had Breakaway. Love her very much ever since.
But i will leave it to you guys if you think i should run this thread or not. I am all for it.

If not,i'll gladly tell the moderators to close this thread. :wink:

But i think she may not have the initial front loaded sales that she had with MLWSWY. But yeah releasing in the radio may build the hype needed. and i agree with changing her sound a little bit. i loved What doesn't kill you,but the sound has been so overdone by her. :-?

I am hoping for 2 weeks of airplay, intense performance the week of the single release and then let it ride until the week before and OF the album release!!!

Kelly deserves so much more than she's gotten post-Breakaway! I want her to remain a successful platinum-selling artist for some years!

I love pop/rock, Avril & Kelly are my favs from that genre...

but, the album title is :-?

, boring...expected somethin more creative just like Goodbye Lullaby :-?

...well her album titles have been always meh...

not sure bout this era though, if it'll be again the AIEW sound it will flop, if she comes with somethin interesting and fresh-> hello Kelly

if this era suc*s, she should turn to country music, she has a good voice for that and the public would adore her

(but just in the USA)

Could not agree more. Even though i loved almost every song of the album,the whole era was just photoshoped to death. even videos like I do not hook up. i loved her look in the Already Gone Video. Nonetheless excited 8-)

Looking forward to hearing this.. Though she doesnt seem to have much Buzz anymore. Especially since her leaked track hardly had any Radio play

I say Kelly does like Pink, and makes music that's dear to her heart... which means, not pop, but pop-rock and country-esque type music.

I am not worried about RCA. What's more important is HER team. If her management is on their "A" game and she makes them keep her name out there, then she'll do fine.

Remember, there are unsigned artists and artists with small independent labels that broke through do to good music, work ethic and the promotion of their management. Everything's not about the label. They mostly ONLY finance the production of everything. But promotion is, for the most part, free! She can get on Idol. Simon Cowell loves her, so I'm sure she can get on US X-Factor. She has a huge UK fanbase, so I'm sure she can do UK X-Factor too.

She can make this work! If she does what's in her heart, like she first did when she went from her debut to second album, she can gain another platinum album and be here until the end of time. Cause the talent damn-sure is there! This is one of the best vocalists of this last generation!

Christina had good initial promotion with Bionic, but the music didn't catch on.

Goodbye Lullaby wasn't refreshing to alot of people and WTH took TOO damn long to catch on (it caught with me immediately, but I'm a straddling stan)

My December (like Rated R) was a dark, artistic pop album made after a HUGE/BLOCKbuster pop album and they NEVER fare well.

I think this album has every chance. Her label means little!!! Her management is what matters. So long as the label ships the copies and make sure the production is on-point, Kelly delivers the vocals, personality and work ethic and her management lines up her schedule non-stop, I think she'll rock out!!!

^i agree with Danbarj. Bionic had almost the perfect line of promotion behind it before its initial release date,but sadly it was the backlash that at the of the day lingered.

Anyway i seriously hope the music is different albeit true to who Kelly is so that it brings in new fans and also satisfy us fans who love her throughout all the previous era.

though i did NOT like the thankful era except miss independent :lol:

This may sound pretty sad but I hope she has lost a few pounds for this Era.. Sadly appearance means a lot, especially with a Female Pop Star. It's just the way it is. Hope she gets back that sexy Rock look as opposed to the fake Airbrushed/Thinned down look of last time! I just want her to do well.

In all honestly the first main thing people notice when someone makes a comeback is their look. It's typically the first thing to increase sales, coupled with the impression of the First Single... Shallow but tru...
