I'm certainly crossing my fingers for future success for Britney on your chart.

Oh, and have you heard MC's new song? It took some time to grow on me but I think I pretty much love it now.

"Titanium" is just brilliant. Lyrically, production-wise, it's just...a masterpiece.

Impressive chart yet again! My faves this time are:

- Lights
- Addicted To You
- Call My Name
- Wide Awake
- Payphone
- Blow Me (One Last Kiss)
- Friends
- Euphoria
- Where Have You Been
- Pound The Alarm
- Dark Side
- Titanium
- Dreams
- Diva
My Top 200 Songs of All-Time: [#165-#161]

Thanks for all comments this week!

Week 48/31 (8/5/2012)

Two drop-out are being replaced this week with one brand new song and one re-entry: at 15th spot, back on chart is Emeli Sandé with Next to Me (15th week on chart), and two spots higher, at 13th, debuts The Wanted's 'Chasing the Sun'

Two new songs reaches this week a top 5 peak. The first one - Kelly Clarkson's 'Dark Side' - jumps 15-5 and becomes the Airplay and the Gratest Gainer. It's also Kelly's third consecutive top 5 hit.
The second one, which rises 6-4, is a recording by Cheryl Cole. 'Call My Name' is Cheryl's first chart entry.
Down to 3rd position is Ellie Goulding. 'Lights' falls in its third week on chart after sensational previous week's jump (20-2).
4-2 climbs 'Addicted to You' by Shakira. It's Shakira's first top 5 hit and the second chart entry, after 'Rabiosa' in 2011. However, the track featuring Pitbull is tagged as a retro song because it would have peaked before the chart started (September 11, 2011).
And, same like the week ago, we have a new number-one hit! 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'!

I just checked out your #1 and it was fantastic! :o I loved Shaggy back in the day ("Angel" was my jam) so it's fantastic to hear some new music from him.

It's great to see the massive leap for "Dark Side" though I am a bit worried that this week might mark the last for Guetta and Sia's titanic "Titanium". It's had a phenomenal run though.

My faves this week are:

Thanks! Both songs you like will definitely stay on chart for next few weeks, new peak poitions not excluded.

What do "PT", "AI" and "RN" mean?

Thanks for your kind words! ;)
As for the certification types (PT, AI, RN), I introduced them not earlier than three weeks ago and I still haven't made a page with explanations (it will appear soon for sure). However, as I can see, there's a little interest in it (I'm so happy to hear that), so I'll write here in brief what's it all about.

PT is a certification that songs get for total points it earns every day. Each Sunday, the points that each song gets through the whole week are summed up and the song with the biggest number of points becomes the number one, the second one becomes number two etc. Each day's total points include airplay points (which are also used for the AI certification, the range is not limited, usually 0-65, multiplied three times), personal points (shows how much I like the song; 0-50) and download points (if the song is dowanloaded, it gets 50 points, otherwise it gets 0). Usually the song at 10th poisition collects the number of 1000 points, the number one - 1600-1700 (the record is 2089). To enter the chart (20th poisition) sometimes the song need only 400 points, sometimes 800. (depends on how strong the week is). The points that song gets through its whole chart run are also summed up and :

The song which the total number of points is 5.000 goes GOLD
The song which the total number of points is 10.000 goes 2xGOLD
The song which the total number of points is 15.000 goes PLATINUM
The song which the total number of points is 22.500 goes 2xPLATINUM
The song which the total number of points is 30.000 goes 3xPLATINUM
The song which the total number of points is 40.000 goes DIAMOND

PT certification is the most important one because it shows the full performance of the song (which peak position ussualy don't do - example: Katy Perry's Dressin' Up - peak: #1, cert: GOLD, Dev - In The Dark - peak #3, cert: 2xPlatinum).

AI is a certification that song gets for the airplay points, however, it only shows one-day perfomance of the song, unlike the PT certification (one day the song may have 65 airplay points, and the next day it can fall to 15). Airplay points are the estimated number and they show how many times each day I listen to/hear the song. Sometimes I check my music player's counters, but not very often. If the songs reaches the number that figures below once , it's certified.

46 to 50 AI points - GOLD
51 to 55 AI points - 2xGOLD
56 to 60 AI points - PLATINUM
61 to 65 AI points - 2xPLATINUM
66 to 74 AI points - 3xPLATINUM
75 Ai points & more - DIAMOND

There were only three songs so far to reach 75 AI points - Alexis Jordan's 'Hush Hush', Alexandra's 'Poplyniemy Daleko' and Katy Perry's 'Dressin' Up'.

And the last one, RN, is a certification only for Longest Runners.

If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 1 week, it goes GOLD
If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 2 weeks, it goes 2xGOLD
If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 3 weeks, it goes PLATINUM
If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 4 weeks, it goes 2xPLATINUM
If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 5 weeks, it goes 3xPLATINUM
If the song holds the Longest Runner title for 10 weeks, it goes DIAMOND

Currently the Longest Runner title has been held constantly for 20 weeks by David Guettaa nd Sia. The last song to be certified before them by RN was Marry The Night by Lady Gaga on February 26 this year.

If something is still not clear, feel free to ask. ;)

Oh, and as for the mistakes, I know about them, but it's acutally wikispaces' fault. I'll try to improve the Navigation region manually.

Thanks again! ;)

Thanks! I'm so happy that you like my number-one hit! Yeah, I was also in love with old Shaggy's recordings and it's nice that he's back into the music bussiness!

Titanium is about to end it's chart run, however, I think that it'll be able to stay one more week.
But who says that it's the end? I woon't be surprised if it re-enters the chart one day ;)

You asked me what I think about Triumphant - well, to be honest I've never been into R&B music at all, however, this song is quite good and I kinda like it. Don't know if it's gonna enter my chart, but it's been already appearing on my daily charts.

And... 16 out of 20 songs! Thank you! Amazing result!

Great chart yet again! It's made even better by the fact that "Titanium" rose a spot instead of falling off completely. Have you heard Guetta and Sia's latest collaboration, "She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)"? It's not quite as phenomenal as "Titanium" but it's a solid effort nonetheless.

Great to see Kelly and Nicki climbing and your #1 remaining stable. :)

Week 50/33 (8/19/2012)

Three new entries this week, all below the top fifteen, are (starting from the bottom): at #20 spot 'I Can Only Imagine' by David Guetta featuring Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, at #17 spot 'Spectrum (Calvin Harris remix)' by Florence + the Machine and at #16 spot 'Hall of Fame' by The Script.

There's also a new Longest Runner this week as the previous one, 'Titanium' by David Guetta featuring Sia ends its phenomenal 36-week run on the chart. The song has been certified so far three times platinum for crossing the mark of 35 000 points and two times diamon for holding the Longest Runner title for 23 weeks! Its successor, 'Where Have You Been' by Rihanna, takes over the title in its 24th week on chart and it's actually the second longest charting song ever (very close to 26-week mark).

What's going on in the top five?
7-5 in its sixth week on chart rises 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' by P!nk. It's the artist's first single and second song on the chart (the previous one, 'Don't Let Me Get Me', which hit the spot spot in November last year counts as a retro song).
Up to #4 is Lolita Jolie with 'Non Non Non'. It's the song's second week in the top fiv.
Down to #3 is Kelly Clarkson's 'Dark Side'. The song slips one spot in itsfourth week on chart.
Back to #2 peak is Shakira's 'Addicted to You'. The song is also the Airplay Gainer of the week, same like two weeks ago.
And, at the top spot, for the third week in a row, stays Shaggy with the summer smash 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'!
