This year we lose 6 members from last year's top 50. Some got permanently banned and some just haven't been that active anymore. Dru4Life had the highest posting quota last year which resulted in him debuting in the top 30 - becoming the second highest new-entry of the year. I think the drop of some big names shows that stan/fan wars do damage ones reception here. Maybe some of the ones who dropped out can re-ignite again their passion for UKMIX in the future.

Some recognisable names there like gaz_uk and westhammer who are still around but just not that often!

i changed my mind when i realized that some members still felt connected to some of the banned members. And since this survey is for the members of UKMIX i decided to not exclude banned members anymore. I deleted this rule from the noms thread instructions. I'm sorry if this tempered someone's votes.

Aye - we ended up being allowed to vote for banned members.

It's a real shame that Chris got no votes - but there's a simple reason, he's stopped posting here, and also been pretty much absent from other areas where people like me used to encounter him - such as MSN.

What I'm most bemused about is that last year I rather randomly voted Lindz (PippaParanoia) and Tom (eamezey) as I'd met them at a meet up in London... and only Lindz is on the list of "not voted for this time" despite me definitely dropping both (due to NOT meeting up with them over the past 12 months

). Therefore, someone ELSE has voted for Tom!

Probably most surprised to see Mykka out of the list entirely this time!

I thought the same thing! I was scanning the list for all the banned people and noticed Beren wasn't in there, so people voted for him? :-?

I liked him, but banned members shouldn't be in the countdown over active members of UKMIX if you ask me... but oh well.

There's loads of names I recognise in there, one of the biggest surprises is Woaah for me, I know she doesn't post anymore, but she was such a nice girl

I did not vote for Beren or Dru, but saying that they shouldn be a part of that list is a bit unfair... They were great members that brought very good moments to this site.
