You see, this type of comment explains why you didn't get a SINGLE vote. You made my shortlist (for your knowledgable posts in TOTP thread and your general entertaining bizarreness). For someone who hates the way the forum operates - as you see it - why are you still here?

Anyway... Pollei #1?

I don't see him so much but i know he's a friendly guy. I'm amazed - i didn't think he was around enough to be that popular!

But my top vote is Mr Sarcastic himself - Neil Irishguy - any one of my top 7 could have been top but Neil's humour and thoroughness in establishing the facts or not of a situation is exactly the kind of poster we should cherish.

Alright, where to begin!

Firstly, a massive CONGRATULATIONS!! to Pollei, what a deserving winner. Just goes to show you that being a nice person all-round can pay off.

Secondly, a massive THANK-YOU! to Stevyy, you did a phenomenal job of this countdown, easily one of the most memorable in UKMix history.

A solid WELL DONE! to those who placed #10-6 and a bitter DAMN YOU! to those who placed above me.

Finally, a massive CHEERS! to all those who voted for me, I love that I got the most votes all-round :lol:

...also, to all those who left the nice comments in this discussion thread. I'll be hitting my post quota hard next year to nab that #1! I particularly loved this...

I don't hate this forum

In fact it is one of the better forums that I've seen. Nothing's perfect though. Popularity poles tend to show other things up as well. My comment was how I saw it.
Some of the top ten members are smug about things you included... Except Irish who's a massive bully when he wants to be.
I wasn't expecting to be in the countdown at all, due to my outspoken comments and "weird" views on things. Especially after going on my blog and posting a piece on how UKMIX was to blame for a decline in numbers!

why are you still here?

That to me is clear symptom of clique behaviour. For when someone doesn't agree with the status quo, members of the clique start to wonder why this person is there. Often resulting in further alienation of the none member. This sometimes leads to the expulsion of such people by hence men who themselves are terrified of the clique. And generally don't like them.

Expect less posts from me anyway. I'm busy trying to get somekind of video for every Real Chart number one hit. Video editing takes up a lot of time.

definitely also glad to see steophonic + JimJim both in the Top 10! ste's another one of my favorites from the Personal Charts section, and from what I've seen of JimJim's posts, we've got pretty similar tastes. both very likable guys, so no surprise to see them so high!

My top 20, rushed to the MAXIMUM. How in God's name I missed out Adam and Chris I don't know.

I don't know about anybody else, but I love it when countdowns are wrapped up in a matter of weeks, rather than months - the excitement is maintained!
