Went through this thread, since page one till end

There was so many excitment for this song

And it's interesting to see how many people loved song, than not that much and at the end they say it's one of Rih's best song.

Same was with me...I just liked it, then after video I loved it and now...my favorite song by Rihanna!

I was very disappointed after the first listen... The second one couldnt save the song too.

But after some days later, i was in love. The song gave me chills, my own highlights from day to day. Her best song for me.

So it won Video Of The Year at the MTV VMAs...
Definately undeserved - this video is extremely overrated by fans and basically everyone, because it's nothing outstanding and not even Rihanna's best.

I'm so disappointed, because there were far better choices to pick :-?

It's Rihanna's best video to me, along with "Hard", "Russian Roulette", "Disturbia", "Man Down"... and others, of course. She has so many outstanding videos.

The video is truly amazing and close to perfection itself. The "storyline", which I didn't expect at all when it came out... ( I thought she was going to party hard on a dancefloor... or something else typical to a dance song :lol:

) is brilliant.

It really conveys a positive message ( warn people about drugs and how relationships can turn out at some point...

) although what Rihanna does can lead us to think it's negative... well, it just isn't.

Then, there are other things such as the special effects, the colours, the intro, the way the video goes on, Rihanna looking lovely and having fun, the contrast between the cheerful song and the ""sad"" video... everything is great.

I can understand people who don't like the video because of things like Rihanna's behaviour or else... but saying the award is undeserved is too much ( and were the contenders videos so great...? :lol:

)

I can't believe it's almost a year since this song was released an it still sounds so damn fresh!

I overplayed this song on my iPod, I've heard on every party, club, radio station... everywhere and I'm still not tired of this track!

I wish that they do some exception in WFL case!

Not to be negative or anything, but this is her strongest song from this era, so that means, she might not get a good nod for the Grammys this year then. :-?

I hope it doesn't get nominated at the Grammys - it's definately not worth an award, especially I can not think of in which category: Of course no Record/Song of the year, no short form music video and I also see problems for Best Dance Recording (which is likely to go to a scene artist/DJ), though who knows as Only Girl also won in the latter category...

This song just doesn't get boring for me at all, I still feel the same magic I did when Calvin's drop comes in that I did the first time I heard it. This song is crazy good. Something about it just unites everyone in a room.

What's up with your hate towards the song? Just because you don't like house/dance?

The song IS SO AMAZING.

It never gets old. And thats a thing not every song has..

I just don't like We Found Love because to me it's nothing special and gets old fast - there are far better songs even by Rihanna...

If Calvin Harris releases his Album with the song on it might get the dance recording not. Apart from that pop collab but Goyte has that atm
