Rebecca Ferguson has announced details surrounding her debut single and album.

The X Factor runner-up will release her first song 'Nothing's Real But Love' on November 27.

The track was written by Ferguson and her main songwriting partner Eg White, who is responsible for Adele's 'Chasing Pavements', Duffy's 'Warwick Avenue', James Morrison's 'You Give Me Something' and Diana Vickers's 'Once', among many other hits.

The 24-year-old's first album will be released a week later on December 5 and includes all new material, all co-written by herself.

Speaking about her experiences recording her debut LP, Ferguson explained: "I''ve loved writing and recording the album throughout this year so I'm really excited for everyone to hear it!

"I feel like I've learnt a lot about myself going through the writing process, putting my experiences on paper and into the tracks. It's a record I'm really proud of."

'Nothing's Real But Love' is expected to receive its official premiere in the coming days.
Sounds really promising judging on the Eg White involvement, think she'll get a big hit and the album should do well too.

I hope it's dark-soul! Some people have described it as a cross between Adele and Corinne Bailey Rae!

I'm not a big fan of the cover actually, she's looked a lot better in other photos!

I love the cover. Rebecca's possibly the most promising X Factor contestant ever for me material wise, can't wait to hear this.

That cover is so horrible, it looks like it's from 1992.

I can see both sides. It looks stylish but you are drawn to her mouth and i'm not sure you should be. She's not Nerina Pallot.

Aw, I like the cover. She's always struck me as a good 90's dance vocalist, so it's very fitting lol!

I'm really interested to hear this - she's got a lovely tone (with the right song!).

I don't get that comment at all
Are you saying Nerina has a nice mouth?

I don't like the cover either, but hopefully the song will be good.

Hmm there is something I quite like about the cover, but the problem for me is that it's not really "her". I've never seen her styled like that before and the image probably doesn't reflect what the album is like.

The cover could actually be the cover of some generic dance single from the early 90's.

The colouring seems a bit too bright to me, I think something darker would fit better

I really hope this is good as she was my favourite last year
