Are they really thinking like that? That would be very mean...
Still I think Born To Die will have its time... It can't have already peaked in its first week, that was just because of internet buzz, this couldn't have been it all. It may not become as big as Fearless or 21, but Platinum or 2x Platinum should be possible once it gets the exposure it deserves. I can imagine Billboard writing "Thanks to a discount and her performance at [insert big show in the US], Lana Del Rey is the artist that seems to be the happiest about the holiday slump currently, as her debut album "Born To Die" zooms up to No. 1 with sales of [something between 80,000 and 100,000]. This marks the album's best sales week since it debuted at No. 2 with 77,000 copies sold, only behind Adele's 21." or "Thanks to her performance at the Grammys and her win for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Album, Lana Del Rey's Born To Die zooms to No. 1 with an increase of 600% to sales of [around 150,000]. This marks the album's best sales week since it debuted at No. 2 with 77,000 copies sold, only behind Adele's 21. Furthermore it's the first week at No. 1 for the album and the first album to take more than a year to reach No. 1 since the soundtrack of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", another big Grammy winner, took 63 weeks to reach the top spot."
