It's hard to pick just one. I get teary eyed quite easily when watching a good movie.
I guess I can say Splendor in the Grass (1961), at least when it comes to love stories.

I remember reading this thread a while back.

My answer was already taken in the first replies, A Requiem For a Dream.

I've only ever seen it once, but I was so distraught by it, I wasn't just leaking an occasional tear, I was actually bawling and when the credits rolled I just felt so devastated :o
