I saw Emeli live yesterday and before she started Next To Me, she announced it as her new single.

I already knew the acoustic version, but she did another version yesterday which sounded even better.

I can tell she's going "pop" with this one just from the title. looking forward to a more commercial sound from her to finally get a "hit"

I love the bouncy piano feel of the studio version, but I agree that it'll take a while to get used to after listening to the acoustic version so much.

This was indeed the version she played when I saw her live, SO good. I prefer it to the acoustic version.
I see the single cover is on the beginning in the lyric video, looks stunning.
