It's like her voice may come off as monotonous but somehow she just pulls you in and then you listen to the lyrics and the entire thing is just fascinating. She's different. That's what I like about her. And she's certainly my artist of the day, I daresay, my artist of the week! "Blue Jeans" slays. :cry:

She used to be a brazilian singer of cheap songs. She released an amazing electro/dance pop album (in english,only for national market) few months ago. Only yesterday I could listen to that album I used to underestimate so much !

I know, but I've always considered Some Hearts to be the weakest of her three records. I agree that Carnival Ride is her best album, though. "I Know You Won't" is arguably her best recording ever. :cry:
