Shame Record Collector crashed out so early, that is a real catchy pop/indie ditty, lovely voice as well. I wonder what other tracks from her have charted!? :D

Here's more! :D

54. Stars & Lovers | Matt Cardle Image
    Peak: 8
This amazing song from Matt's debut album came in for some time, slaying other tracks while it was never a single (and still isn't) but it's totally single material. The chorus > life. This is such an anthem and is the first song I heard in 2012. That is my fan made cover and I made video as well. You know this ain't the last of him.

    CHART RUN: 10-8-9-9-OUT

    8 Points
53. Love On Top | BeyonceImage
    Peak: 5
This contagious song from Beyonce's recent album debuted not to long ago and is showing no signs of peaking just yet. One of my favourites from "4". The chorus is so catchy, I love it! At first I never liked it but it grew a lot on me.

    CHART RUN: 10-10-5-SC

    8 Points
52. Thinking of Me | Olly MursImage
    Peak: 7
Olly's debut song managed to chart around the time I fell in love with him. The vibe caught my attention and his voice is unique. I still listen to it at times. It fell out and re entered again and fell out again. (Complicated!)

    CHART RUN: 10-7-OUT-9-9-OUT

    9 Points
51. The Sky's The Limit | Jason DeruloImage
    Peak: 6
This good song by underrated single artist, Jason Derulo, caught on to me during the first half of the year, I never knew it was a single then! The chorus is very sing-able and contagious! Somehow it fell out as it was climbing. Expect more from Derulo in the albums countdown.

    CHART RUN: 9-9-6-OUT

    9 Points
50. Animal | Neon TreesImage
    Peak: 4
This amazing song by Neon Trees caught on to me, and it makes me want to get into them more. Very amazing chorus! It charted in the beginning of my chart but sadly for only two weeks. Also this is the last of Neon Trees in this countdown.

    CHART RUN: 4-6-OUT

    12 Points

Neon Trees! :D I was listening to their album earlier again - a solid pop album the singers voice is so sexy and pretty powerful! Animal is really nice not my fave from their album though!

Yes it is still fresh now! Love it! :D

Love these! Raise Your Glass is more 2010 song for me, but it's great to see it on your 2011 year end chart! Written in the stars is just amazing. :D
Thanks! and yes I agree!

Yes I don't know why, nevertheless it's my favourite Lissie track by far and a could've been hit I think, so epic! and you'll see :D

Ah, I'd not responded to charts since new year and I've missed so much! Can I just say your Artist of the Year nominees are so exciting to me - I voted John Mayer as he is my favourite but to see Ellie, Mumford and Matt Cardle there when you don't always see them around here is ace!

Glad I've only missed the lower pointed ones, I like all the last 5, particularly Stars & Lovers and Love On Top!

49. Heartbreak Warfare | John MayerImage
    Peak: 6
This amazing song from John Mayer's latest album, Battle Studies got big after I saw the Grammy's last year. Unlike his album, the song never did re enter after it fell out but it did manage to chart for 3 weeks. This isn't the last of him, of course.

    CHART RUN: 7-6-7-OUT

    13 Points
48. You Da One | RihannaImage
    Peak: 7
Even though this is not her best single at all, it became the first song t chart from her. Rihanna had the chance to make me a fan but blew it by releasing LOUD, though I still enjoy some of her music. This one is losing steam quick at the moment though. Nonetheless I enjoy it at times. There's no more Rihanna on the songs chart, but there is on the albums one.

    CHART RUN: 10-10-8-7-7-SC

    14 Points
47. Mine | Taylor SwiftImage
    Peak: 2
This was the first single from Taylor's latest (and best) album yet. It debuted high on my first chart but fell out but then crept in and stayed for a little more, two weeks to be exact. I still enjoy this country pop song, and even though it has been her weakest lead single, it's far better than both. Expect more Swift for your own good.

    CHART RUN: 2-OUT-8-9-OUT

    14 Points
46. Ambitions | Joe McelderryImage
    Peak: 3
This was X-Factor winner's debut single, a cover of a Donkeyboy song. It was great and when I was getting into him it managed to chart high, but only for two weeks. It fell out suddenly and I was very shocked at it's chart run while going over it to be honest. Not yet the last of him.

    CHART RUN: 3-3-OUT

    16 Points
45. The Cave | Mumford & SonsImage
    Peak: 6
This song was almost a smash on my chart, too bad it fell before it fulfilled it's potential, nevertheless Mumford & Sons was one of my favourite discoveries and this song is amazing! This folky rock song managed ton chart for a while (six weeks!)

    CHART RUN: 10-6-7-8-8-10-OUT

    17 Points

Okay You Da One is really not great for me, probably Rihanna's worst single yet. Mine is nice, I like it! Ambitions I really like!

But two songs here are just out of this world great - Heartbreak Warfare and The Cave - AMAZING.

Well they've only released one album to my knowledge and have a new track coming soon which I've only heard once, I can't pick a track on their Habits album - the whole thing has good tracks listen to it! Sins of My Youth & In The Next Room are probably my faves! :D

I don't think I've seen "The Sky's The Limit" on any countdowns yet, so it's a very pleasant surprise that it made yours! it's actually one of my favorite singles from Mr. Derulo, along with "It Girl".

great to see "Mine" make your Top 50 considering it's been out since August 2010! not too shabby for "her weakest lead single". ;)

IIRC, you're not a big fan of "We Found Love", so it's pretty surprising that you like "You Da One" as much as you do (since it's much worse)! I mean, I'm happy to see you chart ANY RiRi song...but she's just done so much better!

48. You Da One | Rihanna

I agree, not the best single, but it's OK ;) I didn't know that you lost your interest in her after the LOUD - it's not a pop perfection, of course, but it's got some fantastic tracks. Maybe it's not better than Rated R, but I was really enjoying last Riri's era.

I hated LOUD haha! I only liked What's My Name and Man Down and Cheers, other than that it was beyond generic and bland. Her greatest will always be GGGB and RR, then she stopped growing as an artist but Is till "enjoy" her sometimes... but to each their own haha

More.. :D

44. Safe & Sound | Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars
Image
    Peak: 2
This amazing song is for The Hunger Games soundtrack. When I first heard it I almost cried, this is exactly the Taylor I love. I am glad she took a risk and sort of a sound change, I hope this is a preview for her next studio album. This is tied with four songs for the highest debut (without counting the first chart). It debuted and has charted for only two weeks but has placed itself in top 45 already. Be ready for this song to be huge this year.

    CHART RUN: 2-3-SC

    17 Points
43. Hungover | Ke$haImage
    Peak: 4
Here's another underrated artist in my countdown. This is a song that shows a side of Ke$ha that is never shown in her singles and videos. This is one of her debut's best songs and of those from her with substance, also it's very good to listen to and the beat is great. For some reason it just fell off.

    CHART RUN: 10-5-6-4-OUT

    19 Points
42. Set Fire To The Rain | AdeleImage
    Peak: 2
This soon to be #1 hit debuted back in the summer and was ready to set the charts on fire (well mine at least) but it burn out quickly. It's one of the four songs that debuted at high #2 as well. Look again for this in this year's charts! I love this song (it's better than RITD and SLY combined IMO).

    CHART RUN: 2-5-7-OUT

    19 Points
41. Enchanted | Taylor SwiftImage
    Peak: 6
This epic song charted due to the Wonderstuck commercials that featured this romantic track, It has yet to be released but many fans believe it's hit material (I personally think it's an amazing album track, too good to be a single). It's also one of her fan favorites (in my top 3 Taylor songs) and is her best produced track. The guitar solo is amazing and so the bridge. To sum up this song is epic, too bad it became one of the two Taylor songs to appear on my chart and not make it in the top 5, being short by one. It did stay for some weeks though. I made this cover as well.

    CHART RUN: 9-8-7-6-7-9-OUT

    20 Points
40. Marry You | Bruno MarsImage
    Peak: 2
This song had so much potential but it was taken away by not releasing it in the Sates. When I heard this I fell in love with Bruno. It impressed me so much it became the first song to debut in the top 2 since then only three others have done that (coincidentally 3 of them are in this batch including this one). It probably would've come back (and it was about to) if it had proper promotion. Too bad, this would have rocked the charts and have an epic video (considering the nice official single cover).

    CHART RUN: 2-5-8-10-10-OUT

    20 Points
