15. Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
Why?
I thought this was an incredibly catchy lead single! I much prefer it to Paradise (sadly, signalling an end to Coldplay in this years countdown)! You just can't help but scream at the top of your lungs along with Chris on this one!

14. Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love
Why?
Never has a song made me want to get up and dance more than this one. It may not be the most meaningful lyrics wise, but it's one of the most fun things to happen to the charts in 2011! Also, the video is pretty great!

13. Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had
Why?
Beyonce + Ballad = Amazing.

Why?
So many haters.. So little time! 'Madonna this, Madonna that' - get over it, this song is spectacular.. Anyone that gets to number 1 preaching about equality for all sexualities (aka, just GaGa
) is fantastic in my book!

11. Adele - Set Fire To The Rain
Why?
This song is the first of.. a few.. Adele tracks on this years countdown! It's such a powerful song and, though her songwriting isn't the greatest, I really feel like she wants to throw me in that damn fire! So much emotion.. Love love love!

Why?
The top 10 was so hard to order for me
I love them all so much, so something had to be at the bottom of it unfortunately! This is one of only three songs that I've ever heard in my entire life that can spark some serious emotions when I listen to them! It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard and should probably be higher up my list now I think about it ^^

I adored their first album and after What the Water Gave Me I was ready for a decent follow up. Then I heard this, and it pretty much single handedly beat down everything from the debut! It's such a powerful song.. Coupled with Florence's spectacular voice, it's a keeper in the old playlist!

This countdown is great! Coldplay, Rihanna & Beyonce all topped my weekly chart at various point of last year.
Adele songs are all brilliant. She had a great year. "Shake It Out" is possibly my favorite original Florence song. Also great lead single to kick off Lady GaGa's new material.

I like all of 20-15, Katy would probably be my least favourite and Marina my fave, I love that experimental style. Nice and diverse with the Jay-Z/Kanye track too, it's great! I can't agree that the Christina part makes MLJ though!

And sorry, I didn't write it very well.. I meant that she hasn't even neared her peak capability! It's all very 'normal' currently, but I know she can knock it right out of the park
