It was released months ago (last year) - cracked the iTunes top 100 when Bieber and pals Tweeted a video for it. They pulled it and rereleased it with radio backing. But, yeah, i wasn't sure it would get radio backing here either.

The "b-side" version of old folk hit Both Sides Now (Joni Mitchell song) is good.
In the UK? :o

I bought both ages ago!

The trick now seems to be to pull the existing version and build up demand while working promo with radio and TV.

Just looked on iTunes - there are more than a 100 versions of this available. :o

WTF? I've only ever known of one like crappy cover version of each song at most?! :o

I suppose there's nothing to lose by putting songs out there early, see what happens and if it doesn't take off THEN spend time and money on promo.

I'm pretty sure I would've gotten hooked on this song even if the video wasn't as fantastic as it is, but it really did help elevate my love for this song to a whole 'nother level. his shirtlessness was wonderful enough, but the twist at the end truly sold me. <3
