Apparently they've reduced the standard version to £3 in HMV?! I guess that's why it's top 40 in the midweeks again!

After all this time...here it is...my MDNA review! :D

First of all...still not tired of it! I'm listening to it since it leaked, and there are some songs that i love more and more!

Girl Gone Wild - Even though it grew on me, it's still far from the best this album has to offer, and really far from the best she did so far. Releasing this as the 2nd single was a mistake, really! It's generic as hell! - 6.5/10

Gang Bang - The best song from this record for me. It's everything i wanted from Madonna and maybe more! The way the song builds until that dubstep part is genious! And the ending is just awesome and pure Madonna! - 10/10

I'm Addicted - One of those songs i didn't care in the beggining, and now it's another favourite. I feel like everytime i listen to this song, i find something new! It's like Impressive Instant 10 years later! A club banger for sure! - 9/10

Turn Up The Radio - Not one of my favourites, but it's gonna be the 3rd single, and it's the best single yet, IMO! It's also probably the most radio friendly song from this album. It's just so catchy that it's impossible to hate it, even with those predictable lyrics. - 8.5/10

Give Me All Your Luvin' - The first single...and the weakest track since Girl Gone Wild. Why they chose to release this as the first single is beyond me! seriously! those vocals, lyrics, etc...the production is good though! - 6/10

Some Girls - The really bad songs are out (the first 2 singles LOL) and this one is another great song. I always loved it since the beggining. The lyrics are actually good, and i like the production. The part "some girls wanna call the shots..." is one of my favourites from the album. Don't know why...love her voice there and how she says all of that  - 8/10

Superstar - I don't get the hate for this song! It's supposed to have this "innocent" side of it...it's not supposed to sound very smart. It's good, not great! - 7.5/10

I Don't Give A - Another great track. Love Madonna's vocals here, and the production! And also the only song that Nicki Minaj raps and doesn't sound bad. She's actually trying to be taken serious LOL. And that ending...OMG! - 9.5/10

I'm A Sinner - The last song to grow on me. To tell you the truth, the only reason i like it it's for the lyrics. that sound it's the same she did on beautiful Stranger and Amazing...and even a bit o Ray Of Light in there. This could've been much better with a different production. Still i give it 8/10 for the lyrics and because it's catchy.

Love Spent - My 2nd favourite from the album. Love the production, lyrics, etc. William Orbit actually shines here. And the way the song builds is great also! (just like in Gang Bang or I'm Addicted) - 9.5/10

Masterpiece - Another one i really like! At first i didn't really care for it, but it actually fits the album. I just wish her voice was not altered! Why those effects?! They are everywhere except for one part of the song. Seriously...that's what ruins this song. 8.5/10

Falling Free - I love this song! People say she's trying to compete with the younger singers...but this and the last 2 songs prove she still has it! Love the production, vocals, also the lyrics! Great way to finish this album! :D - 8.5/10

Bonus tracks: Beautiful Killer > I **** Up > Best Friend > B'Day Song

You are really liberal at giving points :o ... I mean giving 6 and 6.5 points to "really bad songs" is kinda weird, that's the number of points a song gets from me that is quite good  .

I never said "really bad songs". I said they were the worst on this album.

yeah but not like that. Bad for Madonna's standard. If those songs were in a Katy Perry album or something i would probably enjoy them a lot more

Great review Tiago: the written for Falling Free is SO true.
And I agree for most part of the rest bar Gang Bang which is totally a NON factor for me on the album, that song has been removed from my personal MDNA tracklist by now: it's just boring, tiring, too long and the vocal are SO annoying.
There's only one Queen

I asked everyone around me at MDNA Istanbul concert about their favourite song off MDNA, almost everyone replied with Love Spent. It's definitely "the" fan favourite of this album.

Denise, you're gonna love Gang Bang after you see the performance, believe me

I know, but there have been other songs that weren't singles that got nominations. For example, Mariah's 'Mine Again'.

Label first needs to submit a song they consider most appropriate for a certain category. It doesn't matter if it's a single or not.

Have 2 say "Superstar" is indeed a cool song....
Agree with the quotes I left in.... "Gang bang"is really the frakkin best song of the album, closely followed by "Love Spent", but then the acoustic version. The album version is too over produced for my taste

The Grammy committee have the power to nominate a song if they want to, regardless if it's submitted or not.

i don't know why confessions is elevated to the "legendary" status...lol. it's a feel good pop album, but MDNA surely has more to say than that album...

I just prefer Confessions because it has a concept...MDNA seems like a bunch of songs thrown in there...no connection whatsoever...but it's great as well
