MDNA is still one of my favorite albums of all time....probably after COADF my second favorite Madonna album. TIC is the best CD I think and Like A Prayer has two of my favorite songs of all time, but some weak songs as well.

Here is how I currently rate them.

My take on this…
Madonna has always been the artist who shocks and leaves people in awe..

Still at 53 she continues to do this.

The only problem is, is that although she shocks and awes with her tour, she does not want to shock and awe anymore in her music. M is taking the I-want-a-no1-hit road. If we look at the singles for MDNA which have been released, than we can safely say: this is true. Only radio friendly pop tunes. Nothing wrong with them, they sound good and they have major influence, but it is NOT M!

Which singles would have been M: “I’m addicted”(even though I am not a big fan of this song), it had so much extras and great voicing. “Love Spent” the acoustic version, screams no 1, and it would eb an amazing feat for M and a shocker if she would have released this as a lead single from an otherwise very dance pop album…Definitely top 5 ! “Gang bang” this one has all the energy and the controversy to shoot M into immortality. Controversial like hell, and definitely (in my opinion) the Justify my love of this era. It has everything that makes a no 1 and the live version on tour is simply BRILLIANT! If M would have released these three songs as leads, we would have seen a completely different era, rest assured. Don’t know of it would have catapulted sales of the album, but we would have at least 2 SOLID top 10 singles (Love spent and Gang Bang… She would have sparked every ounce of controversy and would have had absolutely no empty seats in the stadium. The released songs are nice….but they are not cutting edge… Beautiful killer is a good song, alas, It would have been compared 2 much with beautiful stranger and critics would have killed it early.

Please M. come back… Come back to the time where you didn’t give a $%^& about no 1 songs and released the most controversial ones that gave you the power…Align the tour with the real hit singles and make sure that people hear the quality you have!

Ps: I f*%ed up is also a MARVELLOUS tune, but maybe not as a single!

Actually a 2nd leg is almost sure...more then 1 person already said she's booking O2 in London and that it's gonna start there. if you go to Madonnatribe's forum, i've seen 2 or 3 people saying this since last week

Yes, I know, I also posted days ago a list of possible dates...but now rumours of a new album are becoming stronger... Btw, it there will be a 2nd leg it should happen in Australia or Asia.

It'll be officially released on Monday along with remixes (since today it's only available on the Irish store). For now the album track is outside of the UK iTunes Top 1020 with the only song charting there being "Hung Up" (at #572 at the moment).
