Madonna :: The "MDNA" Era

Sweden (albums):

MDNA #27 (down 3)

Hong Kong HMV (albums):

MDNA #9 (up 2)

Taiwan Int'l (albums):

MDNA #12 (re-entry into the Top 20)

Don't quote me on this, but I think the big resurgence in Taiwan is because "Turn Up the Radio" is already impacting playlists there. Maybe someone from there can confirm.

Releasing Turn Up The Radio is a bad move. I like the song but it's so similar to GGW and GMAYL in the sense it's just another fun song. She really should have released Gang Bang and got some attention on the single to get it further up the charts. Even non Madonna fans especially teenagers etc would have purchased that song because it's a cool, cutting edge controversial song. This will suffer the same fate as GGW. The people at Interscope seem to be doing all they can to kill this album, such a shame it's a great album.

This isn't my favourite song on the album, and you're right, it's far from risky/interesting.

But I'm actually glad she's going to have a single and a video out while she's touring. I'm pretty sure this is one of those songs that will be so much better live. The song is so summery, the stadium audiences will absolutely love jumping and dancing to it.

I'm sure I'll like this song a lot more after I see the performance.

:D :D

PS Please next single has to be either Gang Bang/Love Spent/Beautiful Killer

When was the last time we got a proper video for a 3rd single?

Hard Candy: Miles Away video was cancelled
COADF: Get Together was a CGI video with a Madonna from a live show...she didn't film a video.
American Life: Love Profusion had the visualls from a perfume add...depressing!
Music: What IT Fells Like For A Girl was banned

We have to go all the way back to Ray Of Light to find the last good 3rd music video...so let's stop complaining. The fact she's actually bothering to film a 3rd music video is great! IMO...

Yes nice we'll have a new video. I hope it won't be cheap like GITM or Jump. And I also hope that is not based only on the usual argument: a dancing crazy woman.

+1.. I really liked the album version and I was upset to hear she remixed the song for the video. When I saw the video I was completely blown away. One of my favourite Madonna moments.
