Why, because of negative reaction to the song?

If only Interscope/Live Nation/Guy knew the rules about the promotion of GMAYL, I don't think this would happen.

I believe that once GMAYL barely made Top 40 and then dropped off there was no hope. Had they followed the rules and it had debuted higher, I think the UK would be in a different position.
