Loreen praised Engelbert's song "Love Will Set You Free".

Eurovision winner Loreen has praised Britain's flop entry Engelbert Humperdinck.

The Swedish singer, who looks likely to score a top three single in the UK charts this weekend, told BBC Breakfast: "I liked the song, and I like his voice. He has a beautiful voice."

The Hump finished second from bottom, with Sweden's neighbour and rival Norway finishing dead last - even though its entry was written by the same songwriter as Sweden's.

Loreen commented: "I don't think it only has to do with the song. It has to do with the artist and how you present it. Those are different parts which are as important to the song."

The 28-year old singer also had a theory about the reason for her own resounding victory.

She said: "I think people liked my performance because it's not usual for Eurovision. Normally you have to look a certain way, but my hair was messy. Sometimes it's good just to narrow it down.

"It's all about focus, there's so many important parts in this performance. I'm standing on the podium, it's one metre high and with all the cameras. I have to put out everything and focus.

"I swallowed some snow. But it's like that when we create art."

it's a little bit cheap, but still a great video. Hope it can push the song in some countries (UK). The best part is the 30 second intro :wink:

The above link didn't work for me, but I found another one.

Crappy video for such an epic tune. Deserved to have a better video IMO - rather disappointed. I do like the 30 second intro though....and I still prefer her live vocals over the recorded ones.

Swedish pop suffers a lot from having average videos. The last exception was maybe BWO (Bodies Without Organs).

There is a concept and an artistic vision there guys I guess. But yeah, after all the time it took, I expected it to be something hugely funded.
