Ah.. and the song is back on #6 on German iTunes charts!
Music videos sales will be counted for the single charts, as well or am I mistaken?

This year’s Eurovision winner Loreen arrived in Malta early this afternoon. Tomorrow the Swedish star will give a concert on the island as some fans and local press were waiting in the arrivals lounge at Luqa international airport. It was esctoday.com that last month exclusively revealed Loreen’s appearance in Malta.
Upon her arrival she gave a brief press conference in which she welcomed everybody for the concert to be held at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, Ta’ Qali. Asked by esctoday.com about her new upcoming album, Loreen replied that her new material is expected to be simple and dynamic. The news site also asked her about the SVT’s choice for next year’s host city and Loreen said that the city does not matter as long all the fans will fly to follow the Eurovision Song Contest.
It will be Loreen’s second visit in Malta as her winning entry Euphoria is highly popular on the island. The event in which Loreen will perform is being organised by Stand Out Events Malta. Malta’s 2012 hopeful Kurt Calleja was waiting at the airport to greet her. Together with his band he will appear in the same show Loreen will perform in.
The Swedish star enjoyed international success following her victory in Baku. Euphoria topped many European charts and reached number three on the UK official singles chart.
I know what you mean. I think that she should promote "Euphoria" a bit more in the UK. It's #80 right now and I think that there's still some potential left.greek_boy wrote:Good for the Maltese fans (where are you jlo17?) but i would prefer to see her promoting the song in bigger markets
That's amazing! Cannot wait to see your next personal charts updateGagich wrote:I`m finally starting to get into this song!

no they shouldn't unless they really want to participate and the czech tv promotes the contest in the country.Mainshow wrote:That's impressive, if you have in minde that Czech Republic didn't participate in Eurovision this year. They really should come back!nekoo3372 wrote:no.1 in CZ iTunes
Yesterday Loreen performed in a show case event in Malta. In a forty minute show she was well received by the Maltese and Swedish fans who happened to be on the island.
This year’s Eurovision winner was accompanied with her five member band. The Swedish star performed songs like Yoga and last year’s Melodifestivalen entry My heart is refusing me. Loreen ended her show with the winning entry Euphoria. The Eurovision winning song topped many European charts and reached number three in the UK official singles chart.
This year’s Maltese representative Kurt Calleja did also perform together with his band. Apart of singing some commercial cover versions he also sang his entry for Baku; This is the night. The event was organised by standoutevents and took place at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre. The venue was used for this year’s Maltese national final.
Loreen left Malta early this morning as tonight she will appear in Helsingborgsfestivalen.

it's doing well on itunes because the song is getting airplay.
They don't take Eurovision seriously in UK and France too, but the final got decent viewing ratings. I still believe they didn't promote it right. The entries they picked were not appropriate for Eurovision and most of them were messy.nekoo3372 wrote:people do not take Eurovision seriously ...greek_boy wrote:no they shouldn't unless they really want to participate and the czech tv promotes the contest in the country.

They tried to promote it, but it did not work ...
The contest was huge there in 2009 and 2010 but the interest slowed down in 2011 and this year the viewing rates were disappointing. (probably because the song received no airplay at all and the singer wasn't very popular). Still, Slovakia has showed some love for Eurovision in comparison to Czech Republic.nekoo3372 wrote:Its not that popular in Slovakia toosomehow more people in the TV have more patience
This pharagraph refers to a Swedish article:In July 2012, Loreen performed at Slavianski Bazaar in Belarus, where Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko was in attendance. During her visit to the country, she met with the wife of political prisoner Ales Bialiatski, Viasna representatives and independent journalists, and in a two-hour meeting expressed her words of support to political prisoners and signed the petition to ban the death penalty in the country. Loreen later stated she was fully aware of the risks that "speaking out" came with, including the possibility she could have been stopped or arrested at the airport when trying to return home.
