It was the first time I saw Madonna and she completely blew me away. The place was totally packed. Just packed.

The opening is classic. Everybody was wowing. My highlights were the opening, Gang Bang, Vogue, Express Yourself, I'm Addicted and Like a Prayer. But the best moment of the evening was Madonna singing Like a Virgin. So beautiful, so fragile, so **** honest. This version is just perfect.

Sorry for this maybe strange review, but I'm still so impressed haha.

AND ... she is freaking sexy! Can't believe it .

Jason, have a great evening tonight. You will enjoy.
Your review isn't strange at all!

Yesterday I saw Madonna live for the first time, as well and I was totally impressed by each and every **** minute of this show!

I've never been the biggest fan of Madonna's, but she totally got me with this tour! - I was standing next to the B-stage and she was so amazing!
I'm really impressed of her dance moves. She dances more at this tour than Britney at her "Circus" and "Femme Fatale" tours. I really thought that GaGa and Britney would be the most amazing performers, but Madonna totally blew 'em away.
There's only one Queen and that's Madonna! ;)

Personally, I think that the best performances was "Gang Bang". Hopefully, its music video would have the same concept, if it will be really released.

Moreover, "Like A Prayer" was just epic. I felt like being part of a religion at that moment. It was so spiritual and everyone (really EVERYONE!) was standing and clapping their hands during its performance - even people from the back.

And she was really in a good mood yesterday! She even showed us her arse after and she was talking so much about equality of life and love and together with "Nobody Knows Me"'s amazing video she moved me.

I think that I have never seen a concert like this before. Kylie's "Aphrodite" is close to it, but Madonna really topped everyone!
I cannot believe it that I finally see her and that it was SO good. Actually, I was hopin' that it would be a good concert, but it was more than that!

My life is finally completed!
When you're ready come and get it.
Na na na.

That´s what amazes me when it comes to Madonna .
Everybody knows she´s not the best dancer and is far from being the best singer but she has this larger than life personality and her confidence + attitude are so big AND so strong that everytime she goes up on a stage (it doesn´t matter if it´s on her tours, TV/Awards Shows or only giving a simple interview) she OWNS it !
It´s impossible not to give it up to her . It´s impossible not to feel mesmerized , she takes you with her and her magic captivates each and every one in the audience.
I agree , there´s only one Queen and that´s not because she´s been in this game for 30 years blah, blah, blah boring stuff...
There´s only one Queen because she Knows & Manages her game showing eveytime she feels the need to , how it´s done!
Bow Down To Madonna! She SO deserves it !
Denise , we ( Madonna Fans ) will miss you A LOT !

People,
Good Morning.

I have a lot of meetings today @ work, so I will post my extensive review ( and I mean very extensive) later on today.
From me forgetting my ticket at home to the queuing in the rain for 4 hours.
From the amazing soundcheck to my fantasttic place at the tip of the triangle.
From an franticly happy and fun Madonna to the Queen telling us that this is the F@#$% best crowd...
We had it all. The Queen at her best

"EPIC" doesn't remotely decribe the show.....

Give me some hours.

Preparty:
Here is my review (and personal story, ahhahahha). Me and my buddy were about to go. He got telephone call from his employer: calamities at work. So he could not attend. Jason taking his feet and walking to ZiggoDome(15-20 minute walk)…..when approaching the dome, I realize that I forgot my tickets at home. Back home, took my bicycle and then to the Dome.
Finally arrived , and I saw a huge line. I was angry and miffed (this was 2 o clock in the afternoon)….. I told myself: **** calm down. Relax. Think of a plan, cause you ain’t going to stand all the way in the back of the line. So, I whipped out my telephone, and started talking to an imaginary friend on the phone (actually I was speaking to no one). I said: where are you? To the front? Which line? By doing that I was walking past all these people, who were there for 5 hours already. ? . At a certain point I was almost at the front (still talking on the phone talking to imaginary friend who was supposed to be at the front). Then I said to myself, ****, this is enough…. Don’t be a bully, you have walked far enough. There were like 5 or 6 persons before me in the line. Then all of a sudden it started raining cats and dogs. The rain was really heavy and 3 guys, just out of nowhere, handed me their umbrella. I was happy. Anotherone offerend his blanket and asked me to come warm him up, I declined. Hahah.
At 5 the pit bitch came , to make a long story short, I had to touch the IPad , and it said: ”no entry” or something. At first I was very angry… I told the pit bitch: “I will be dancing my ass off for her Madgesty , if you give me access ”She was laughing very hard and said, I am so sorry… GRRRR

Soundcheck:
At 6 the doors opened. HALELUJER!!!! First those ugly people from early entry or whatever went in. Then us… I sprinted like a mad man towards the stage. Security officer said before gate opening: “calm, no sprinting”. I didn’t hear the man, as he collected my dust. I elbowed two or three lame bitchez on the way who were running like ballerinas and I rested my legs at the immediate left side of the tip of the podium. I have to say this was the best spot. Of course Pit is also nice, because it has more room, you can relax, no pushing and shoving. But the triangle end was very very good. M was really not paying attention to the Pit people, except for two instances. hahahaha
When we came in, the sound check was in full swing….. M was doing “celebration”. She was at the tip singing and dancing and was all happy peppy. But then her sound fell off. And diva was pissed. She threw a little tantrum at audio guy and said: “Please listen to me when I speak, I can’t hear shit”. So, it took a lil while before that was fixed and in the meantime, the audience already there started singing. That got M really going. Audience started singing ”Deeper and Deeper”… She went all the way to that side and shoved the mike in their faces, they sang their hearts out. After that, audio still not fixed, M asked: what other song: The audience at the left, said something, but I wasn’t able to hear…Then she said: NO! Then they started singing: “Physical Attraction” and M was again ecstatic, saying it was the favorite song of one of her dancers. After this the audio was okay and she continued with celebration, and then I’m a sinner… Then she said: this is a very good audience, I love this audience. She started with TUTR and told the people: Please practice because during the show you will be singing it fully… “Don’t let me down, Amsterdam rocks”.

Show:
The Queen was late and the audience started booing and clapping at around 9:45…. At 10:12 she entered ?
Opening / Girl Gone Wild: EPIC. Totally not too long, it is very nicely done. Take note that M dances really crazy here. No negative remarks on this one. Way better opening than S&S tour… male dancers are dancing their asses off on those heels. Audience going crazy with this opener. The whole time: “Madonna we love you” from audience…

Revolver: Follows nicely. Nothing very extraordinary, but it follows the opening very nicely. Wasn’t able to see the backdrop as I was focusing solely on M. hahaha. Audience a bit relaxed
Gangbang: “BRILLIANT”. All the moves, super choreography. M really totally owning this part. This SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 1ST SINGLE! Madonna at her best, controversy all the way, in a whole wonderwomanésque ambiance…Audience wide awake, jaw droopingly watching this spectacle

Papa don’t preach. Have nothing against this version. It is different, but not lame. And she was all the way smiling and rolling over at the tip of the stage… Audience making photographs like they were crazy

Hung up: Sorry, I didn’t like this one. M was 2 far away, don’t know what made her do the slack lining…Song was not 2 bad, but it was my least favorite part of the show. Audience relaxed.
Audience woke up again during I don’t give a … Very energetic M, with a big tough face…again just before me doing her thing…. I was a happy man! Nicky Minaj who is very popular here got also cheers

The intro for heartbeat/best friend was very cool and nicely done. Audience was dead silent…it was really odd. They were observing the dancers and the video and were mum. They loved this piece of theatre. They were stunned by the whole dark theme

GMAYL/BTW/SNM: I have nothing negative to say about this one. She owns this song(mash up), the song is very underestimated. Song is very good, nicely done. Love the fact that the drummers were hanging from the ceiling playing their band march. Too good. I really liked this part. M danced again very hearty. Have 2 say that floor audience was also feeling the vibes and chanting the whole time; L U V madonna

TUTR: Very good. Don’t have 2 repeat what others have said. I am warming up to this song, and she actually sing it quite nicely, Voice was definitely okay.
Open your heart. Audience went wild and sang the whole song, even though it was a different arrangement. Also think it was a very good choice. She was happy and laughed during the 2nd chorus.
Before she did masterpiece, she had her thank you moment (nothing new there). And the she said that she heard a rumor, that someone was going to propose… It was nice, they were up on the screens and they proposed and the man accepted. Actually the woman proposed to the man. M dedicated masterpiece to them. Brilliant…..with Kalakan…very good. audience sang through.

Vogue: Pffffff. Stylish! After all these years still a crowd favorite. Audience again very happy.
Candyshop….. Sorry…this was my 2nd “what-the-fuck-is-this-moment”. Didn’t like it…sorry. Luckily Erotica followed. Human Nature was good. The big mirrors were nice, she is really good in this song. I’m addicted followed and I have no complaints about this song and choreography. Dancers on spot, M doing her thing. Only the audience didn’t seem to warm up to it. Most of the seated audience were actually sitting down during this song. Haahahahahah, and then when the end was near all cmareas got out…was she gonna do a nipple thing or ass thing…the whole dome had camera flashes..LOL.

Like a virgin: also very very very high point. I was a bit hesitant about this, seeing the videos on internet…But this is really good, really really good and nicely done, on Evgeny’s waltz… WOW…How did she think of doing this like that…. Pfffff. Beautiful. When the dancer pulled the corset to a very thight point and the music stopped, someone in the audience yelled: PULL MORE…M wanted to laugh, but she held up.
I’m a sinner: Very nice, M again on point. Nice moment for the pit people, they loved it that she actually was there singing it. I love that way the dancers are working it, with the backdrop of the trains. It is like they are jumping form train to train.. This one is right up there as one of my favorites. The media in Holland memorizes this as the best part from the show.

LAP: perfectly follow up to previous. PRICELESS! Audience clapping, dancing and singing the whole song…This was the liveliest they have been the whole show. It was like they were waiting for this one.

Celebration ended the set beautifully. Audience knew this was the end and they clapped like crazy. Jumping up and down and M really appreciating that by laughing the whole song, sometimes not even singing, she forgot, cause she was laughing and jumping up and down. She was really happy, you could tell.

Overall: this was an epic show. WAYYYYYYYYY better then Sticky and Sweet. No one, and I literally mean this. No one tops the Queen. This is monstrously good. People left the arena and all I could hear was; WOW…still at 53!

Oh! One thing I forgot to add to tell was about the queen's lateness. There has been some bad rep in Swedish Press about her starting her concert later than they said. But I find it understandable. Since Ullevi is an out-door stadium and the sun was still shining brightly at 21.00-22.00 and Madonnas show involves a lot of special effects and the atmosphere is pretty dark (like the opening act). I understand why she wanted to perform later than it was said.
