I'm still boycotting Showtime for cancelling United States of Tara.

Well I think it's great, the cast work really well together and I think it's an interesting spin on other police/detective dramas.

More info from Deadline about Unforgettable being un-cancelled:

‘Unforgettable’ Will Return To CBS With 13-Episode Order For Summer 2013
By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Friday June 29, 2012 @ 5:00pm PDT
Tags: CBS, Unforgettable

EXCLUSIVE: Unforgettable lives! CBS has picked up the procedural starring Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh, which was cancelled in May after one season, with a 13-episode order targeted for next summer.

Following the cancellation by CBS, Sony Pictures TV, which co-produces Unforgettable with CBS TV Studios, began actively shopping the series to other networks, including TNT and Lifetime, while also pursuing a resurrection at CBS where it eventually started renewal negotiations. Unforgettable centers on Carrie Wells (Montgomery), a New York detective with the ability to visually remember everything, who works for a team led by her ex-partner and boyfriend, Lt. Al Burns (Walsh). Unforgettable will mark the highest-profile summer original scripted series to air on CBS in a long time. The network, which sticks mostly to unscripted fare and scripted reruns in the off-season, recently had some success with another crime procedural, Canadian import Flashpoint, which started in the network in the summer.

The axing of Unforgettable was surprising and one of the closest calls this upfront season. In its first season, Unforgettable averaged 12.1 million viewers and a 2.5/7 among adults 18-49 and was the most-watched series on any network to get the hook. The series was created by Ed Redlich and John Bellucci for Sony TV, CBS Studios and Timberman/Beverly. Walsh is with Gersh and manager Bob McGowan, Montgomery is with UTA.
Beyond happy about this news! :D

Cult doesnt seem that bad. The creator of Farscape created Cult. I dont like TV critics anyway. :-?

Nashville is gonna FLOP. Their was a reality show on FOX about 3 to 5 years ago with the same name and that show got pulled after only 2 or 3 episodes. Plus its on AC's Wednesday 10PM death slot. The only shows to survive that slot on ABC was Revenge and Lost.

This season doesn't quite tickle my fancy as much as last season did. In my opinion there were some brilliant new shows last season (Once Upon A Time, New Girl, Suburgatoy, Don't Trust The B****, Grimm) and there were somer that were also brilliant but unfortunately short-lived (Pan Am, GCB, Bent).

There seems to be a bit of a poorer quality this year.

In terms of comedy The Mindy Project looks pretty funny but, in terms of protagonists, Mindy appears to be a copy of Zooey Deschanel's Jess.

The New Normal looks quite funny (I'd watch anything with the brilliant Georgia King in) - it's just a shame that like he's done with Nip/Tuck and Glee, Ryan Murphy will find a way to crap all over the show.

Emily Owens looks like it has potential, the lead seems likeable enough - plus Justin Hartley is always good value. Though Beauty and The Beast looks a bit cliched, I'm gonna give it a go because I love Kristin Kreuk in Smallville.

In terms of what looks absolutely dire (on the same level as last season's 'Work It'): The Neighbors and Guys With Kids won't last more than a few episodes in my opinion.

Right?! I'll probably just watch the ABC shows on tv (since we usually get them the same time as the US), and the Sex and the City prequel online

new shoes I'm excited for...

666 Park Avenue
Arrow
Beauty and The Beast
Cult
Red Widow
The Neighbors
Mistresses
Revolution

and the comebacks of:

Nikita
Vampire Diaries
American Horror Story
Revenge
Lost Girl
The Walking Dead

think that's it... I was excited for Partners but it's just a lame Will&Grace copy.

I'm watching Revenge at the UK pace so it hasn't finished yet but I'm surprised and happy it's getting a second season.
I haven't seen the end of this season yet but now my minds going wild with how their going to end it in view of another one following on.
But I LOVE this show, one of my fave's on TV right now, so YAY for another season. :D

I actually quite like the look of The Carrie Diaries despite never liking SatC. Plus it has Freema Agyeman in it - so it's win-win. Mistresses also looks good for a mid-season show but will probably suffer the same fate as the wonderful GCB.

I like Freema and glad she's getting a US show... but a teenage SatC? What's the point. Don't we already have 90210 and Gossip Girl for the high schoolers sleeping with each other thing?

Well it's kinda just 90210, as GG got one last short season, and One Tree Hill finished last season...

But 90210 is enough for me anyway :D

I'm huge fan of SATC, but I'm really not exicited or waiting for this...

I originally thought the same but shcokingly it's been pretty well-received by the critics. I'm just thankful to see Freema in something - Martha was always my favourite NewWho companion.

I'm caught between a rock and a hard place with Once Upon A Time. It was by far my favourite new drama last year.

I could either watch it at US pace where it takes frequent breaks in airing, or I could wait until it airs in the UK next year and watch the whole series in one uninterrupted block. Such a hard choice.

There's no way I'd be able to wait for the UK pace while everyone else is talking about/seeing the US pace but if you have good will power... wait for the one without any breaks :P
