There was no need to call the young girl those names and it sure does make Rihanna gutter trash.

Disgusting and disgraceful.

While I refuse to blame her tweeting and any other behavior on CB, you do know that abuse is cyclical. The insecurity that follows extreme abuse usually leads to the victim becoming an ABUSER. Of themselves and others.

Let me know if you need sources and I'll be more than happy to upload a list.
I don't need a list yo.

I know abuse is cyclical. I don't know what's so surprising about it...

The world operates according the abuse cycle.

But if you're going to bring up the abuse cycle to defend, then everyone is a victim.

Tbh I think celebs should stay away from twitter, it causes waay too much grief. I mean I knw its a great way to promote, etc but then again it can (especially in this case) show them in a negative light.
Look at how many times chris brown has had "twitter beef", the last time was only a couple of days ago and previous incidences has shown him to be very insensitive and homophobic. (It would be different if celebs werent viewed as role models)

At the end of the day. Rihanna put herself on Twitter and is responsible for her own image and PR through her account. Telling 14 million people you are being cyber bullied isn't cool, especially when most of them probably agree in the first place with the initial comment made against Rihanna.

That said, Rihanna is entitled to date whom ever she decides. I disagree with violence, but both Rihanna and Chris are young enough to learn from any mistakes made. There is obviously something still there between them, and if they want to try again so be it.

I think the girl was expecting nothing, 1000s of people, including me, have mentioned @rihanna because of that topic and the remixes, she just insulted that girl, no one expects Rihanna to reply, and also not that she replies in such awful way.
It is touchy but Rihanna knew that reactions were coming the moment she wanted to work with Chris again, so why is she reacting that way? it is not anymore about being "a bad b*tch" or looking at the fact that Rihanna has responded similair ways in other tweets. I think Rihanna wants attention in some way, and had has not only to do with the "talk that talk" theme, I really think someone needs to help Rihanna, it may sound dramatic, but she will ruin more than she thinks, if she goes on this way.

If you do something to cause "controversy" you also have to be big enough to take different views and opinions.

Look I understand all that but I don't think I ( as a person) would have reacted differently. If Rihanna was having a bad day and someone said that, honestly can you blame her for snapping.

I can't blame her for snapping, but honestly she should have reacted in a more normal way, she first insults a girl and than tweets she is being cyberbullied, while she is the one started, that is the thing that really bugs me, why can't she just think and tweet in general that it is her business and that everyone who thinks otherwise should move on, since it is her life, if she reacted that way, I would actually behind her tbh and would be defending her atm.

I don't act like I am perfect, everybody has it's flaws. The thing is that she should think and be an adult in this situation. I am not happy she worked with Chris, but I love the remixes, I like Chris' music in general, and I love Rihanna and her music. If Rihanna would just say/tweet/write that she follows her own path in life and that everyone should live with that and move on and ignore her, if they can't stand her choice, I actually would be proud of her, but for me, she is reacting in a childish way, like I said, when you are big enough to cause controversy and work with him, she also should be big enough to take critism, different opinions and reactions.

"Brilliant, resilient", Rihanna? Hard-ly.

I'm judging anybody with the nerv to justify Rihanna's actions. Is it so hard to admit she did wrong?

First of all the tweet wasn't even directed to Rihanna so why did she responded? Everybody uses @account as links so other people can look up what's happening at that mentioned person's twitter.

Second, coming for the looks of random internet user, really? What a low thing to do and it only proves Rihanna herself can't even defend her actions properly. What's with #WeBadYouMad, IDAGF attitude? Rihanna says "I have no time for haters" in her interviews then resorts to personal insults when she's safe behind her cellphone, smh.

Third, Rihanna knows exactly how twitter works. She's puts that one girl's account for all of her followers to see, knowing the Navy will go after that girl and it will be nasty like it always is. And like it's not enough, then Rih's actively encouraging her stans to gang up on this girl. Way to overuse the power you supposedly don't want to have over your fans

And the irony of Rihanna saying she's the one being cyber bullied... disgusting.

Rihanna stated her "opinion" in an insulting way about a topic that has NOTHING to do with the whole tweet.

Rihanna began to insult, and after rih's cyber bully tweet, around 1000s mindless people who are fan of Rihanna insulted the girl afterwards...what is the point?
The girl may "dished it" but Rihanna's reply's were not the reply that should come from that tweet to "eat it". If you would have cheated or done something else unexpected and weird in loads of people's eyes, and someone would ask why you did cheat and you would just say "you're ugly" or whatever, what is the whole point of that, just be an adult and say mind your own business or ignore it, Rihanna didn't do both and acted as a little kid.

Quoted for emphasis.

I don't agree with or approve of what Rihanna did AT ALL but isn't it a bit hypocritical to call her a dumb bitch who deserves to be abused after reading her twitter and hearing about her Chris Brown collaboration?? Rihanna made a very rude comment based on what the girl looked like but you guys judging Rihanna because of what you hear and see is just the same thing. Like several have said, Rihanna's still a person, celebrity or not, she probably reacted the way that most of us would. However, the 'navy' attack, as it's apparently called, was disgusting and really underhanded - she knew exactly what she was doing there.

Also notice how she put arrows pointing to the name of the girl in her Tweet where she complained about cyber bullies. A clear instruction to her followers to TARGET the girl.

There's no excuse for this, anyone trying to come up with one is disillusion. Girl's original tweet was anything but insulting, saying you lost respect for someone is your right and is not a vulgar attack, Rihanna probably got million worst tweets and insults from her own fans on this issue. She called the girls' avatar (which has her smiley face on it) a ''bad look'' which clearly means she's ugly/not pretty. What a low thing to do, especially to someone who has a bit of weight and could be her little sister in a way. I don't care if it's Rihanna who did this, if it was anyone else I would have the same opinion.

Rihanna deleted most of them. She retweeted loads of things her fans were saying about the girl and said how that girl must love to eat cake, playing on the Birthday Cake lyrics in relation to her weight.

Since when did Rihanna become Regina George? I did think it was mean to make fun of that girl like that, especially when she's got so many followers - but I can understand why she responded that way out of anger.

I know that I and so many others make fun of people who are mean to or aggravate us. I do think Rihanna went a bit far by saying that to the girl instead of just making fun of her with her friends, but I can understand why she was angry and wanted to lash back at the girl.

I don't like that she's working with Chris Brown and am sick of this phony badass attitude Rihanna has, and while I don't approve of her bullying this girl I can understand while she hit back. Rihanna probably just needs some time to get rid of all her stress and get herself together.
