Don't get me wrong. Thank God I Found You is a brilliant Mariah Carey song.
But We Belong Together >>>>>>>>>>>>> Thank God....
Everything about it: the music, the lyrics, the vocals, the beat, its monstrous success, what it symbolizes...

Yeah "We Belong Together" left waaaaay to early!
I mean #54?? Really?!
People were really just hating...a lot of the best and brightest R&B songs of the decade got trolled...But on the other hand, I'm REALLY glad that some of my favorite rock songs did a lot better than they did in the actual countdown.
Which song was that?
I was very happy to see Eminem's "Lose Yourself" end up so high. It's one of my all time favorite songs and I was afraid we were going to lose it a lot sooner!
To name one in particular?
Evanescence's Bring Me To Life.
But In The End, Californication, How You Remind Me, American Idiot, Complicated, Get This Party Started were all my jams.
Like I can't tell you how many times I would rock out in my bathroom/bedroom with my sister's hairbrush to Evanescence only to get caught by my father or my mother or my friends...
