I love snow patrol. They have some amazing songs.

I hate Depeche Mode. I don't know why they have become so successful and loved in Germany.. but not one single song I know by them that I would call great.

All three have good songs here and there... Sweet was one of the best of the glam rock days (had no idea you liked them THAT much!), Snow Patrol among the best of 00's Britpop (especially the modern classic "Chasing Cars"), and Depeche Mode are synth-rock royalty, among those bands who have stayed good throughout their entire career :D

I've been getting into DM recently and Snow Patrol do have a few really good songs. :D

Pet Shop Boys are another great 80's synthpop band that's continued to have good music since as well :D

Savage Garden was fantastic too, and Darren Hayes has had a few good solo songs too :D

James Blunt for me started out quite good, but has kinda lacked since.

Sweet was one of my first favorite bands back in the 70s. Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys are bands from the 80s that I still love to hear. Savage Garden and Snow Patrol are very great, too. It´s sad that Savage Garden have separated early, but it´s good that Darren Hayes still making great music. Mariah Carey is an amazing artist with one of the best voices, but I prefer other female artists.

America had lots of good songs in the 70's :D

I must admit, I really like the Backstreet Boys as well... just good pop music all around, especially late 90's-early 00's era.

Mariah Carey was brilliant in the 90's, hit or miss in the 00's.
