Doubtfully though, I can see it dropping to about #7.

Wow, my bad, my bad. How the hell did they lose an almost 4k lead to Rihanna in TWO DAYS when it was only 6k at the start of the week? Shocking position, so disappointed.

On the (only) plus side, it's the highest new entry in a week which includes new releases from D'Banj, Scissor Sisters and a single release from Jessie J (not quite the same but hey :lol;)

This deserved higher but I am happy that it outpeaked Notorious. For a little bit of good news, 30 Days debuts at #2 on the Scottish chart.

So I guess I'm the only one who prefers Notorious to this one

#7 is fine... not surprised it dropped as the two performances didn't seem to help really. They need to release a number one worthy song though. This took a while to grow on me!

Exactly, this is a really good song but it's so run-of-the-mill for them.

*VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE @SPARTAN*

This song always sounded like a #7 hit.

If they want to come back hard, they should take a proper break and wait at least one year before releasing anything, and then the general interest will be heightened once again for a brand new release from The Sats.

However, as much as I don't like to say it, I really do think that their days are numbered -- what with the terrible album sales as of late, and also the recent under-performing singles.

Absolutely.

'All Fired Up' was robbed, to the extreme, out of all of their singles.

I remember that was one of hardest weeks(when AFU was released) in terms of competition last year...

I think All Fired Up's first week sales would have seen it as No.1 this week.

Incidentally, this sold 100 copies less than Rihanna in the end, at around 35000 copies.

Not too surprising. Recently, their singles don't tend to have much staying power.

Do we know what's happening regarding a potential new album?

#7 is pretty disappointing, especially since it's dropping like a stone already :( The chart run looks very similar to Proud.

ouch at that 10-spot drop :( for comparison sake:

"If This Is Love" = 8 - 13
"Forever Is Over" = 2 - 8
"Missing You" = 3 - 7
"Notorious" = 8 - 21
"30 Days" = 7 - 17

I forgot how much "Notorious" plummeted in its 2nd week, so at least this isn't quite as embarassing as that! "Notorious", however, rebounded in its 4th week and remained pretty steady in the Top 40 until week 10. I really don't see that happening with "30 Days".

That was because Notorious went down to 59p though... I think they should do the same with 30 Days. It's not the worst dropper around, 'Dance Again' has already plummeted below it, though it's 24 now..

Their fairly large fanbase ensures that their singles go top 10, then plummet into the depths of uncharted territory.
