I can't @ 'FanMail' only being #51. One of my favourite albums of all time and much better than 'CrazySexyCool'.

Geez. Definitely Maybe is sooo low. I wonder what place Nevermind, Morning Glory, and OK computer are gonna be in.

Hopefully all in the top 10.

Title: NEVER SAY NEVER
Year: 1998

Points: 336

Image

Never Say Never is the second studio album by American singer Brandy. Released by Atlantic Records in June 1998, Norwood's label consulted David Foster and upcoming producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and his team to work with her on the record, the latter of who went on to craft the majority of the album and would evolve as her mentor and head producer on succeeding projects in the 2000s.

Artist: TONI BRAXTON
Title: SECRETS
Year: 1996

Points: 337

Secrets is the second studio album by American recording artist Toni Braxton. It was released in the United States on June 18, 1996 by LaFace Records.

After selling eight million albums domestically of her debut album, earning several awards—including Best New Artist at the 1994 Grammy Awards—, and having consecutive top ten singles on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, a lot was riding on this project.

In the fall of 1996, Braxton kicked-off the Secrets Tour playing dates in America and Europe. The album was nominated for Best Pop Album at the 1997 Grammy Awards. Secret has been certified 8× platinum for sales of 5 million copies in the U.S. and has sold over 15 million copies worldwide, becoming her best selling-studio album.

Artist: MARIAH CAREY
Title: RAINBOW
Year: 1999

Points: 346

Image

Rainbow is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey, released on November 2, 1999, by Columbia Records. The album followed the same pattern as Carey's previous album, Butterfly (1997), in which she began her transition into the R&B market. Rainbow contains a mix of hip-hop-influenced R&B jams, as well as a variety of slow ballads. On the album, Carey worked with David Foster and Diane Warren, who replaced Walter Afanasieff, the main balladeer Carey worked with throughout the 90s. As a result of her separation from her husband, Tommy Mottola, Carey had more control over the musical style of this album, so she collaborated with several musicians such as Jay-Z, Usher, and Snoop Dogg.

Rainbow is considered as her worst album of her 90's career.. but it does have some really amazing music on it.. like Petals, CTTA or TGIFY which is by far not her worst #1 single.

+ one of the best remixes of all times: Make It Last (TGIFY Remix) also comes from this era.

FanMail is also a great album. No Scrubs is such a great song. I own it too.

What's up with my 90's divas falling already? :o

The Colour of My Love, Believe, Christina Aguilera, FanMail, Never Say Never, Secrets, and Rainbow are all great records which I expected to see much higher up!

The record topped the album sales charts in both the U.S. and the United Kingdom, spending 109 weeks on American album charts and enjoying two separate spells at the summit, and 183 weeks on the British charts, and spending a single week at the top. Artist: GUNS N' ROSES
Title: USE YOUR ILLUSION I
Year: 1991

Points: 371

Image

Use Your Illusion I is the third studio album by the American rock band Guns N' Roses. It was the first of two albums released in conjunction with the Use Your Illusion Tour, the other being Use Your Illusion II.

The two are thus sometimes considered a double album. In fact, in the original vinyl releases, both Use Your Illusion albums are double albums. Material for all two/four discs (depending on the medium) was recorded at the same time and there was some discussion of releasing a "quadruple album".

The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts, selling 685,000 copies in its first week, behind Use Your Illusion II's first week sales of 770,000. Use Your Illusion I has sold 5,502,000 units in the U.S. as of 2010, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Each of the Use Your Illusion albums have been certified 7× Platinum by the RIAA. It was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1992.

Artist: U2
Title: ACHTUNG BABY
Year: 1991

Points: 378

Image

Achtung Baby is the seventh studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, and was released on 19 November 1991 on Island Records. Stung by the criticism of their 1988 release Rattle and Hum, U2 shifted their musical direction to incorporate alternative rock, industrial, and electronic dance music influences into their sound. Thematically, the album is darker, more introspective, and at times more flippant than their previous work. Achtung Baby and the subsequent multimedia-intensive Zoo TV Tour were central to the group's 1990s reinvention, which replaced their earnest public image with a more lighthearted and self-deprecating one.

Title: I'M YOUR BABY TONIGHT
Year: 1990

Points: 381

Image

I'm Your Baby Tonight is the third studio album by American pop/R&B singer Whitney Houston; released by Arista Records on November 6, 1990. Following the run of this album, Houston continued to achieve widespread commercial success throughout the 1990s, venturing heavily into films—while continuing to record via their adjoining soundtrack albums. Subsequently, I'm Your Baby Tonight would not be followed up with another studio album until 1998's My Love Is Your Love.
